Thanks Rangers for a Great 2010-11 -- Can't Wait For Next Year!

Although the season ends with a bitter taste in our mouths, this still stands as one of the best years I've had as a Ranger fan. For the first time in many years, the Rangers established themselves as a mentally tough, hard working team. Best of all, it's been accomplished for the most part with our guys -- the players we drafted, the players we watched progress through the minors and junior and the guys who will hopefully form the nucleus of this team for years to come. Congratulations Rangers on a great year -- and now I can't wait until the next wave of kids arrives. Next season can't get here a minute too soon.

But this team has no future.

Looking forward to next season, where hopefully we can get some consistent offense. I think we could finish as high as 4th next year with the right moves.

Awful way to end the season. I'm so angry, but overall it was a great season. I'm happy they made the playoffs, and I told myself I wouldn't care how it ended as long as they made the show.

The youth took a huge step forward, and we weeded out the pathetic hockey players on this team.

Very successful season.

It was an up and down year but it was exciting to say the least. I believe this team is only going up from here and piece by piece we are assembling a contender.

I'm proud of the effort the team put forth most days.

Epic run to make the playoffs. I'm proud of our guys. Losing Cally hurt and most of these games were so close. I look forward to next year.

Looking forward to having Cally back, along with Richards and maybe Kreider. Solid season.

IF the right decisions are made this summer, next season has the potential to be one of the most pivotal seasons in franchise history. If that's the case, we'll be able to look back on this season and remember it fondly as the prelude to greatness.

Phenomenal season. Rangers finished 2 positions higher than I had em picked despite being absolutely decimated by injuries, and getting absolutely NOTHING from Chris Drury, next to nothing from Frolov, and about half the production you expect to get from Gaborik.

I'm so proud of this team.

Players dead to me...

EC - good in shootouts. Sucks in real life.
Boyle - will never have a season like that again and he's soft as ****.
Gilroy - *****
Prospal - getting old and slow
Drury - he can come back and take face-offs for league minimum if he wants.
WW - Zherdev 2.0
Frolov - Zherdev 3.0
McCabe - our pp looked worse if possible since he arrived.

Here, here.

This season I was actually proud to go to the Garden and watch this team. That's been rare.

This team is on the brink of greatness, in my opinion.

Wouldn't Frolov be Zherdev 2.0 and Wolski be Zherdev 3.0?

Really enjoyed watching this season. It wasn't always pretty but there was a lot of heart shown and it was a lot of fun. re-tool, re-load and come out firing next season

Liked Avery s game tonight hope he's back next season, either way great effort not enough talent, no bounces, just wasn't meant to be.

GO LIGHTNING!

Great season in a rebuild year. Rangers despite the lack of offense battled game in and out consistently(for the most part) this year. Thanks for great season.

Good year. A step forward but lot's of work still needs to be done. This off season there's going to be some hard decisions to make and some glaring holes to fill.

This team overachieved for much of the year. Overall, great seasons by Callahan, Dubinsky, Stepan, Anisimov, Boyle, Prust, Staal, Girardi, Sauer, McDonaugh, and Lundqvist.

Hopefully Gaborik can return to 40-goal form next year, we can sign Richards in the offseason, and Kreider/Zucc/MDZ can step up.

I also hope we do the smart thing and part ways with Drury, Christensen, Prospal, and Gilroy.

I'm indifferent on Wolski, McCabe, Fedetenko, and Avery. Wouldn't be dissapointed to see any of these guys go.

Great season, I have nothing negative to say. It stunk losing today but whatever. Enjoy the offseason fellaz, we got a lot to do till draft day and we'll all still be posting.

Next year should be fun. I expect Hagelin to come out hard in camp and guys like Horak, Grachev, and Valentenko to show what they're about. Can't wait to see Thomas in training camp.

Cheers to the Rangers.

And let's get Richards and a real PP QB Dman
