I hate it too. Nothing is more painful on my ears than 20,000 Chicago loud mouths screaming with that song in the background.

crazy series.

will be interesting to see how game 4 shakes out.

I want LA to win because it would help us avoid the Canucks, and of course because any time the Sharks lose in the playoffs, its cool..

Now we need a Yotes win so the West shows some sort of life.

I only watched the LA/SJ came until maybe halfway into the second period. I believe the score was 4-2 when I went to bed, so I guess anything could have happened (haven't checked the score yet either). Did anyone else who watched the first half think that LA looked like Nashville and SJ looked like a better version of Anaheim? LA was flying out there, creating turnovers, and more importantly they were burying those turnovers. Good stuff. I'm pulling for LA. They've been following our lead as a franchise for a few years new as far as drafting goes, and they are going to be a tough team for years.

They combined for 7 goals in the 2nd.

Setoguchi got the OT GWG.

pierre mcguire should stand on the bench if he's interviewing a player in the bench area.

Haha yeah I saw later on that the Sharks had come from behind to win. So FROM WHAT I SAW, the game reminded me of Game 1 or 3 of our series

I agree. We need to grow a pair and learn to keep these childish *******s out of our heads so that we can focus on the game. What I don't want to see is us being sucked into their game of cheap shots and overall goonery. With that said, I'd probably turn a blind eye to a call up of a 5 minute per game guy taking a run at someone's head. Can't think of anyone who would more deserve such an unfortunate occurrence than Perry. Of course that isn't how this team rolls, and it never has been.

Chicago sure as hell woke up all of the sudden, didn't they? A lot of Canucks fans are too arrogant to admit it, but they have to be worried now. I think Luongo's mind is more scattered than Rinne's right now

My only real fear for tonight's game is that we go head hunting and half-ass it. 2 minute penalties are not acceptable for bumping into a flop-o-matic Duck. I can better tolerate game misconducts with attendant suspensions through next November. Go big or go home!

Unfortunately, the reality is that the Ducks will come out banging and crashing hard. We'll throw a half-assed check or two and get called for retaliation penalties. The game will be 0-2 before the first TV timeout. That leaves our only real shot is to play "our game" timid as church mice and hope that we don;t lose more than two more players to injury. I figure they'll go after SK first, then HQ.

Oh well.

ETA: Glad to be wrong about that ****.

Who do we want, Sharks or Kings?

I can't decide.

You will be hunted down and flogged (along with the guy who said he wanted to see Lindback play in the playoffs) if we end up losing this series.

Seriously, that was a really silly thing to post

Lighten up Francis.

Silly superstitions have no bearing on the outcome of a game. I should know. I wore my lucky and undefeated shirt to game 4 and we lost.

+1.

I can't believe that someone with the preds thought it would be a good idea to play it at a game this season. Everyone started booing and I haven't heard it since.

I wasnt saying it was silly because it was superstitious

Its silly because we have no reason to feel like we have this series wrapped up.

Its even sillier because we shouldt be wondering if we want to face the sharks or kings, since we almost certainly wont face either one if we are lucky enough to make the second round. if the kings win we will likely face the wings. if the sharks win we will likely face the canucks.

edit: on another note just watched the sabres screw up a 5-on-3 worse than we usually do.. but then they scored after so i guess it didnt matter..

and how about that chicago series???

hamhuis causes a penalty shot..

Schneider injures himself trying to save the PS

Luongo comes in an holds chicago off the board for over 30 minutes but the vaunted canuck offense cant score...

and so the hawks win in OT and force game 7...

wowser....

cant decide which would be better, him going home while we keep playing, or him having to listen to our playoff crowd cheering against him, since he made that wisecrack about our home attendance..
