Quick had a lot of amazing saves and had to fight through a lot of bodies to do so. My favorite part of the night was Clifford celebrating his goal by punching Murray in the face.

... Agree 100%. Richardson - that guy has been a maniac in the playoffs. His line has been terrific.

Also want to give some love to Stoll, who dominated in the faceoff circle.

Quick.

Clifford - Richie - Simmer were again easily our best line yet they got 11:16, 13:47, and 14:46 in ice time respectively. I don't get it.

Great job by Stoll on the face-offs tonight. Team needed that big time.

Beautiful diving breakup by Smyth late. You could probably count his good defensive plays as a King on one hand so I'm glad he saved one of them for now.

Defense played well for the most part. Drew's stupid, unforced turnover was embarrassing to watch but it looked good compared to Matt Greene. Terrible.

...We're going to have to play better in Game 6, especially with offensive zone possession, but I'm just happy the season lives on for at least one more game. Go get 'em!

Lewis led all Kings forwards in ice time. Mitchell had over 28 minutes tonight.

I know a couple of guys here attend the press conferences etc, can one, all, SOMEONE, ask Murray about Greene and how he felt his play, and mention his untimely penalties etc, get in front of Murray and I think he will react!

I keep wanting to compare my boy Clifford to another NHL player, but I can't. He's better than most light heavyweights/middleweights who can fight and play like Carcillo, Boll, Mike Brown...etc...He's actually better than Travis Moen, who is one of the most skilled middleweights...Not as skilled as Chris Stewart or Milan Lucic, but somewhere in the middle.

David Clarkson? Maybe even better. Clarkson has never scored more than 2 goals in the playoffs...Steve Downie? Clifford's a better fighter.

I would trade Matt Greene straight up for Sean Avery right now.

Lewis is a stud, he just needs to learn how to finish.

Yep. Yet he didn't get rewarded with the ice time to show it. Oh well. Mitchell, Scuds, and Jack all played top notch tonight.

Thank you Quick. For a goalie who hasn't really had a big save all series, he put up about five games worth of top notch saves tonight. Now if he can play like this next two games...

Great effort by the Clifford-Simmonds-Richardson line, Stoll looked wonderful in the faceoff circle and Lewis was strong on the penalty kill.

Greene looked brutal tonight, and undisciplined to boot.

While I don't think he had a very good game yet again, hopefully getting that goal will spark Penner to play harder the rest of the playoffs.

Now let's see if the Kings can give us at least one home ice win in the playoffs. Regardless though, in my opinion, this playoff is more successful than last years. While we played better I think as a whole alst year, it was clear who the better team was. This year, we should be up 3-2 and likely could have won this series with better consistency already.

Quick stepped up as a goalie must do in the playoffs. Momentum has shifted and if the Kings can continue sticking to game plan and control the middle of the ice, everything is now possible! Great game for Mitchell and Stoll.

Go Kings Go! (and keep keeping me up late on the East Coast...)

That back check by old man Smyth was amazing, I don't think we saw him give that much effort on a back check all season long.
