I am starting a new religion and calling it Quickslam. No virgins. Just hockey, loose women and beer.

If that doesn't inspire the team, nothing will.

Quick learned that pad stack from Bernier.

David Clarkson? Maybe even better. Clarkson has never scored more than 2 goals in the playoffs...Steve Downie? Clifford's a better fighter.
Now this^ is a question worthy of some serious attention.

Clifford is clearly more talented than Cacillo Boll Brown and the like and is just a rookie who has seen considerable improvement in the offensive side of his game as the season has gone on making him potentially better in every way than all the rest with the exception of Lucic but then, I want to see the two of them square off. I think that Cliffy with his low balance point would be able to get inside Lucic and give him a go.

He is an enigma and possibly might develop into one of the top middleweight/hard driving wingers in the game. A true power forward type? Maybe not but one heck of an old school type player.

What did you guys think of Penner, I don't even know if he played in the 3rd, he had the goal, I think he was just, there tonight, he scored, yay, didn't **** up defensively, yay, but...was not really a prescence.

Yeah, forgot about Smyth. Mitchell did have a good game as well. Didn't notice Scuderi as much, but I'll take your word on it.

Bernier DID get a shutout.

He didn't let in a single goal and in fact, he has been perfect this series so far.

once again, our third line is awesome! Clifford was a beast & Quick was amazing
SJ had far to many shots and Quick had to make to many big saves. We have somethings to correct.

Matt Greene is a classic case of what happens when you try too hard and not let the game come to you. Start chasing after the game and your butt ends up in the penalty box and you get caught out of position.

I expect way more from him, he should be one of the more relaxed out there. I don't think he'll be benched because he has been decent along the boards, but someone really needs to settle him down.

Better versions of a Chris Simon or Chris Neil?

Or something like Steve Ott that actually can and does fight sans the turtling and cheap shots?

The Sharks have a serious goaltending problem, and I couldn't be happier.

I think Clifford is already better than Ott but an interesting comparison to me is Pat Verbeek. Verbeek had a similar first year if you consider how much more wide open the game was back then but he also had some impressive fights for a rookie too.

Not a perfect comparison but one that sort of sticks with me when I watch Cliffy play every now and then. Maybe Cliffy won't ever be as dynamic offencively and maybe he will but either way he is going to be fun to watch develop.

Clifford a 20 goal scorer next season? .. Simmonds also getting more involved in the offense because of the new found amazing 3rd line.. maybe hell hit 20 as well? .. Schenn and Loktionov coming who each can have a shot at hitting 20 as well I believe...

...Combine that with getting rid of a few of the old loafs... and god damn.. We have one hell of a team on our hands boys!.. 4 deadly lines being rolled out.. consistently!

The only thing I fear in this equation... is Terry Murray... maybe even he cant **** up the gold mine that will be handed to him next season.
