I like the young Chris Neil comparison. Ott can't fight the guys Clifford has fought and beat.

Neil is always good for about 10-12 goals and 2-3 in the playoffs and can fight and beat anyone. Clifford might be even better in the playoffs.

Clifford is having the 1st round playoff success Warren Rychel had back in 93!

There was the light and then this guy in a stripped shirt dropped this black circle and then all these guys starting skating around and around and then a few times the black circle went behind one of the players who looked like he was too fat to skate with the other fella's.

In the end the Kings won by putting the little black circle behind the black jersey wearing teams fat guy more times then they did against the fat guy wearing a white jersey.

It was exciting.

Hey, Don't you go doubting TM's abilities as a coach my good man.

Smyth with a diving poke check while back checking.

Quick won the game.

Richardson's line is still the best line and got the least amount of ice time.

Doughty still turns the puck over for no reason.

Penner scored a goal.

Greene with two stupid penalties.

Kings with another must win on Monday.

I like it.

Otto used his size more though as an advantage but not a bad one.

Tom Loughlin?

Not a perfect comparison but not too far off either.

I think that Cliffy with his low balance point would be able to get inside Lucic and give him a go.

He is an enigma and possibly might develop into one of the top middleweight/hard driving wingers in the game. A true power forward type? Maybe not but one heck of an old school type player.
I think he's Rick Tocchet, with about half the skill. If he turns into a 25 goal 50 point version of Tochhet, I'm more than happy.

I was being sarcastic.

You ride that fence machine, where TM is concerned you can build a fencehouse next to mine. Its a terrifying way to live but the view can be breathtaking at times.

Yeah he did. Missed the open net in the final two minutes. That's about All I seen of him that period though.

I swear Murray is going to put me in the hospital one of these days.. these games cannot be good for my heart... or sanity.

Same amount of grit and who knows about the talent really.

I mean Clifford is just so danged young that you gotta wonder where he will top out. I agree that he won't likely hit Robert's numbers but if he put up a few nice scoring seasons It wouldn't be a total shock.

He does play that same type of game. One of the things that I keep waiting to develop in the kid is a bit of a dirty streak but it just doesn't seem to be in him so far. I am happy about that.

Sharks have never lost a 3-1 series lead.

Suppose there is a first time for everything though.

Me too.

I was thinking Rickety too and even said as much earlier in the year. As fair a comparison as any really at this point. But remember Rickety was pretty dirty as a rookie and not as fast. It would be great and to my way of seeing things not entirely out of scope for Clifford to have a few nice seasons where he had 50 points if he continues developing the way he has this year.

Rickety T is an interesting comparison for sure.

I'm so happy the Kings were able to pull out the W. It would have been so depressing to watch them drop three games in a row. Clifford was a beast and Quick was incredible. Also, TM used his timeout!
