That's what has been keeping me awake at night since Smithson rippled the back of the net early Saturday morning! I remember that. I have it on video somewhere. I was moving to TN in July and was tuned into that game. The cameras wouldn't stop shaking and it was hard to hear the announcer's at some points. Right then and there I knew that this was the team for me...
In many ways I've been waiting for this game for 13 years. I'll be at this one as well before I bolt back home tomorrow. Can't wait. That's all I can say.

Best sporting event I have ever been too. I hope tonight one-ups it.
We need a strong first period like we had Friday night. Taking a 1-0 lead into the locker room would be great. Keep their chances limited, but once again it would be great if a few easy shots get by so Rinne can build some early confidence. He looked good last game, but he also looked a bit shaky after one got by him. During the warm ups the boys need to pepper him in the chest, pads, and glove with shots, too. Don't try to get any buy him. Just get him seeing the pucks, and confident in stopping them. Otherwise, play our game.
Play our game. I would think the Ducks have less in the tank than we do based on age and amount of foward TOI. Withstand the early push, play solid D, stay out of the box and kill the ones that we give them. Get the early lead. I think the team that scores first has won every game.
I'm leaning toward saving my 1st season black hat rather than using it tonight. It was in play for Games 1 and 5 but not Game 3.
Noise level should be unbearable tonight. Clapper, vuvus, totoos, hands, lungs, feet. Bring it all.
A win today keeps me from having to kill Lady Gaga, too. I'm not sure if that's a bonus to the rest of you, but, while I remain committed to ending the evil that cast a curse on my team, I'd rather us win, prove there is no curse, and save me the trouble of life in prison.
