Actually there's a question on whether Sushinsky is actually signed. The Prucha situation doesn't look good (him coming over this year) and Immonen seems 50-50 at best here or in Finland. And whether we like it or not Purinton and Strudwick are still in the mix.

Anyone else hear that Balej, Prucha, and other prospect for Havlat and a second? I'd be all over that deal. Balej was gotten in a trade(and is still a questionmark as far as NHL ability to produce), Prucha was taken in the 8th round(may not even come over, it would be good to get some value for him as well if Sather cant sign him) and a lower prospect for a great young star-type player AND a 2nd? That's called upgrading your assets big time. The only thing was Jessiman was that "low" prospect. Maybe I'd even do it with Jessiman, right now.

My lines .......

I like the 1C and 2C lines it puts a young guy on both lines with some good scoring fwds, it should help out Lundmark and Balej.I dont expect Immonen to be here either.

3rd lines move Nieminen or Giroux to the right side. Im for NYR signing or trading for a good young under 27/28 year old 3rd line checking center Im not high on MOoore at all, he would be good for the 4th line.

1a-Rucinsky-Nylander- Jagr
2a-Lundmark-Straka-Balej
1B- Straka-Nylander-Jagr
2B- Rucinsky-Lundmark-Balej
1C-Lundmark-Straka/Nylander-Jagr
2C-Rucinsky-Straka/Nylander-Balej
3-Giroux- ? F.A/Trade / Moore- Nieminen
4- Murray-Ortmeyer-Ward

If Poti remains n NY....

Poti- Malik ( makes to much sense, Poti needs a smart stay at home d-man)
Tyutin-Kaspar
?/F.A/trade/Lampman/Pock/Kondratiev

Weekes and Lundqvist

Weekes starts as the #1 and winds up losng job down the road to Lundqvist, i hope atleast.

Keep dreaming ... Havlat is an absolute stud. They won't be moving him, especially if Hossa is heading towards beig a UFA likw it looks like now.

i understand that hockey news is slow right now, but does it really make sense to even try to imagine who's going to be in camp and who is going to shine there? i mean, people have balej locked in on the 2nd line it seems, and we still need to see how he plays in camp before we even give him a roster spot.

too many questions yet to be answered for this thread, methinks.

I saw someone post something similar to this.

Rucinsky Straka Jagr
Giroux Moore Lundmark
Nieminen Immonen Balej
Ortmeyer Murray Ward

I am not sure about the fourth line he had but what do you think?

I think you can put Ortmeyer with the two finns and get someone who can fight to play Murray and Ward.

Where's Nylander and I hope Ortmeyer doesn't make the team.

Ortmeyer is one of the hardest workers and best shot blockers in the league.

That statement is hard to back up when the kid has only played 40 or so NHL games.

but i personally like the kid I find him to be a solid role player with some great defensive skills and a very good hustle, can block shots also, but I wouldnt put him down as one of the best in the league, he only played half a season. I think he is a keeper who can be very valuable to any team if used properly.

What i think is.....

.....Where is Nylander, I dont expect Immonen to be here so I dont just give him a spot in the lineup till I hear other wise, Lundmark is a natural Center but been playing the LW and is not a RW, Nieminen is a RW, Balej should be on the second line RW spot, Ortmeyer is a RW.

I would go with the lines that seem most likely being Jagr, Straka, Nylander, Balej, Lundmark and Rucinsky getting top 6 minutes.

With guys like Giroux, Murray, Ortmeyer, Ward, Nieminen, Moore or maybe a F.A signing or a trade for a player. I think for the bottome 6 spots guys like Giroux, Nieminen, possibly Murray and Ortmeyer are locks leaving 2 spots being for Moore or Ward or maybe like I said a F.A or a traded player, thats just IMO.

Lundmark Straka Jagr
Rucinsky Nylander Balej
Nieminen Moore Ortemeyer
Giroux Free Agent Ward

Kaspairitus Tyutin
Rullier Poti
Kondratiev Malik

Weekes
Lundqvist

Healthy Scratches: Strudwick, Purinton,

Hartford: Jessiman, Montoya, Grenier, Wiseman, Hollweg, Pock, Taylor, Baranka, Dawes, Liffiton, Kozak, Helminen, Lampman, Murray

Rullier because he's relatively young and he's got to be better than Strudwick and Purinton. If any of the Hartford defenseman are better than he is, he gets put through waivers. Moore can slide down the depth chart if the center they sign is better than he is.

Are you telling me Lundmark who is a right handed shot cannot play right wing?
Nieminen is a left wing not a right wing. Nylander would play instead of Immonen I just hope its Immonen.
