Just for the record. I had a meeting the morning after game 3. I had sa tough decision to make. I almost shaved. I landed on cleaning out the neck and cheeks.

Given recent results, Can I do some light maintenance on an as needed basis or only after a loss?

Players get maintenance days. Your beard should too, if it needs them.

I grow worse facial hair than Sidney Crosby but I did my best to carve Martin's 'burns and 'stache into my patchy beard. Unfortunately the patchiness make his particular mutton chops impossible so I opted for the longer sideburns route. If we make it to the second round, this is gonna get ****ing gross. Put a pair of big, round, glasses on me and I won't be allowed within 100 yards of a school

If you don't, there's probably something wrong with you. They're just plain creepy.

And also the gayest things ever - and I don't mean that in a derogatory way, I mean it literally; totally homoerotic.

Woot, got my first "paycheck" from my LLC

It's only like 30% of what I make in a week at my full-time job, but it's a start! We're in the black off the bat, so that's a huge head start.

I've had several winter beards, a couple summer beards, and playoff beards since the lockout each time BUF qualified.

This current one was by far the itchiest growing in that I recall.

And, besides not shaving my face, I stopped shaving my head.

I'll be damn disappointed if it all ends Tuesday evening...

[PSA/] I'm sure you already know this- but maybe for some of our 1st time beard growers. If your beard is really itchy start using your regular conditioner on your beard- it should resolve that. Maybe use conditioner 2 days in a row and then just regular shampoo after that and mix in the conditioner periodically? [/PSA]

My head's been shaved since Halloween 2009. It's now growing out too with the beard.

Conditioner is as plentiful in my bathroom as bacon in an Orthodox Jew's refrigerator.

(Note to self: see if I have a couple hotel sample bottles stashed with the toiletries.)

i was asked about it at work... i chose to use "religious reasons" as my excuse... no trimming yet... i'm starting to look like a turrurwrist

Went from the playoff beard to the Rick Martin look for game 7.

Figure going 7 for game 7 can't hurt.

I did it before game 6. Keeping it until they are done... so for at least a few more weeks
