If kings and hawks win we would be facing the Kings.

Still, the Kings are not total slouches without Kopitar.

I would much rather play Detroit or LA than Vancouver or San Jose. Do NOT want San Jose. Everyone else is fine by me. There are no "easy" teams left so I will gladly take my chances with Detroit and LA (kopitarless) than have to face the Sharks who have been our daddy. I think we can beat detroit. This team has been bred to beat detroit.

We were 5-1 against the Wings this year.

While that doesn't mean it will be that way in the playoffs, we certainly don't have a reason to be shaking in our boots about playing the Wings.

IF the Kings & Hawks win ... we get home ice against the Kings ... the Wings get the Hawks

Sharks win in OT.

So, it all comes down to the Canucks and Hawks.

Canucks win and we get them.
Hawks win and we get Detroit.

Although I'm not worried about us beating the Wings, I'd rather the 'Nuks win and we stomp them flat in round two! We can then slay our goliath (Wings) to win our first RafterRag on the way to the Cup Finals where AEM can finally get her date with Ovie!

Thankfully my husband is also a hardcore Preds fan and has said that if me going on a date with Ovie will guarantee a trip to the Finals I have his blessing.

No dreams about other Caps yet...although I'm not sure I'd recognize anyone else besides maybe Green. Maybe I should start studying up...

I'm excited for the Vancouver-Chicago game and to be honest I could care less who wins.

If Van loses though expect HF to crash.

I wonder how ole Hammer is feeling about playing in Vancouver now...can't imagine the pressure those players are under, and the hatred they'll face if they lose. Crazy. Meanwhile, we're living it up down in Nashville. Wonder which he prefers?

It's hard to imagine Vancouver playing a more perfect game but Corey Crawford is having the game of his life and Captain clutch with an absolutely beautiful play. Wasn't a bad play by Hamhuis but you have to believe he is having flashbacks.

If Chicago wins we would have play the Wings, and if we somehow manage to beat them we play either the Hawks or Sharks. It would be nice if we could overcome the past.

It wasn't a boneheaded Hamhuis play, but it wasn't a good play either.

Oilers fan jumping on your Bandwagon. Rinne won me my fantasy hockey league, and I am hoping he can shut down the Canucks.

Cheers. :-)
