I'm almost afraid to ask, but is there a way to find out which two clowns wearing the orange arm bands will be calling the game tonight?

I haven't liked what I've seen from Syvret either, but I don't think Pronger is anywhere near ready to play full-on d and this is perhaps not the best game to throw in Gustafsson. Is Boynton still injured, or do they just prefer Syvret over him?
I think they like Syvret's mobility more than Boynton's. I haven't seen Lavy asked the question directly but it makes sense to keep him in now, why change?

I've thought about Pronger scoring too. After passing up a lot of chances to shoot, he'll crank up a surprise slap shot!

The Flyers need to get out early and score, then keep the pressure on.

Get ready for a penalty, either way, in the first 45 seconds.....

With those changes we had better see the Flyers going out and finishing their hits. This team has had a tendency to play to the other teams game, and a physical game first, and skill game second will win this sucker. Grind the d-men down and keep them in their end.

I agree. Send Powe and Carcillo out there to start and bang bodies for the first shift.

Laviolette has been using the 4th line wisely and they have been creating the most chances. It is also why I like the idea of sending out the Holmstrom kid and sit Syrvet, shorten the bench on defense if needed, not like Coburn adn Timonen are not used to seeing 30 mins on a given night.

I am surprised that Walkom is not doing the Habs/Bruins game, when Bettman needs a decided outcome Walkom is the man who does his work. That may not be good, but the other half is the NHL needs these ratings and a possible Flyers/Bruins and Caps/Pens in the next round would be exactly what they need, not Buffalo and TB in the mix.

I would have preferred Sutherland and Devorski.

Yeah, both of them seemed to call pretty good games. Whatever, maybe O'Rourke won't feel like he has to control this game and will let it go mostly on 5-on-5.

rather see Montreal get by bruins
bruins will still have a mad-on from what flyers did to them last year
add that to pittsburgh beating TB
then they can play Bobs again

really don't wanna play bruins or tampabay next round

Yesterday and today, Chris Pronger has turned up the aggression in practice. I expect him to play a bigger factor tonight than in G6.
and expect roy to for sure be in the lineup for the sabres tonight based on what i am hearing around here up to the minute.

i have yet to see the flyers team that easily ousted my devils last year in round 1 besides sparingly here and there. that team needs to make an extended appearance tonight. forecheck the **** out of the buffalo defense and pound them all night.

Bobrovsky is the #2 tonight. Backlund is #3. Leighton "sent to neverland and is not here" according to Pantoch

At least Bob is back in the line up in some way and ever better that Leighton is just plain gone.

Roy hasn't played a game in months, with any luck he won't be a factor.

iPad doesn't let me quick reply so I had to use your post to reply to (my apologies).

That being said...i skipped my last ever grad school class tonight to watch the game. Professor is a stickler on attendance....I'm sacrificing my GPA for the flyers, so they BETTER sacrifice the sabres season for me!
