As usual, the Rangers are having their end of season merchandise sale at MSG from 11-6 tomorrow. They said the merchandise will be up to 90 percent off...
thanks for the post. i picked up a couple tshirts and a messier and leetch retirement banner last year, cost me about 50 bucks. for anyone that can get there there really are some good deals (maybe a couple gomez jerseys are left too )

wasnt gonna go, but some of those banners are awesome. Ive got the 4 retirement ones already. Maybe ill go now..
Anybody know if this stuff is different from the stuff on sale at the last two home games?
i would assume that it's probably discounted even more than at the games, but i am not certain. probably the same merchandise that was for sale, though people always say jerseys that are on sale after the season is over means the player will be gone (wolski?)
i'd imagine they HAVE to be blowing out redden inventory - shirts and jerseys. maybe ill get my gf a redden shirt if the price is low enough, just tell her to keep a cardigan on
damn it they never give a real heads up notice on these things.... argh
Seriously... 1 day notice. Thanks a lot MSG. A few years ago I went and picked up a bunch of t-shirts because I had like 4 days notice. The next year, again with a few days notice, I was planning on going but was hungover as a mother....
Anybody going that is willing to buy for a guy working all night (RN) in CT and can't go... Looking for 85th anniversary t-shirts if the price is right, which I'm assuming it will be.
I had my sale today. Somebody tossed 2 bags of garbage onto my back door. I decided instead of throwing it out I'd see if I could find an address or something. IT was mostly junk and what I found was a 1994 NYR 2 foot Stanley cup replica and 3 NYR pucks, one signed by Doug Lidster!
a bit early this year. I guess they need to clear out some space for the renovation work.
I hope the prices are good. Last year your could get shirts for $8, replica jerseys for $75, Wade Redden for $5, and they even had some nice hats for like $6.
For starters, they had 1,000 of their overpaid useless employees getting first crack at everything. Thats a great way to treat your fans.
Then with about 75 people already lined up near the entrance and 5 minutes to 11, THATS WHEN they decide to set up the barricades to form the lines. Except they now want it to go in reverse flow than that everyone had naturally lined up for, so now the people who got there first is now the back of the lines.
Then the guy asks me why i am so mad? He says they didn't know about this and its all new. BS. They have done this every summer, in the exact same spot, the exact same time of day, with the exact same setup, every farking year. Unbelievable.
It was at this point i was asked to leave.
They need to better train the apes they hire to work at MSG. From ticket takers, to security, to concession workers (by far the worst group), every single public-interface employee, they are all useless.
...This team just isn't worth it anymore. Its not worth the support we give them. The support my season ticket money goes to. And sadly, is has nothing to do with the on-ice product.
That's pretty crappy. Season ticket holders should've been able to get in early / have first shot at the sale.
I wouldn't even ask for that (yet that is in the nature something that other teams often do for their STH), however, giving employees first shot at everything (while im sure they already get an employee discount anyway) is a slap in the face.
At the least you would think they would do it the day before behind closed doors, not out in the open while everyone else stands around and watches.

I am here right now. It is packed and all the good nyr stuff is gone already. I am aggravated and am headed to a bar. Thank you e train for track work today!
Here as well, nothing really good NYR wise unless you're getting youth stuff. Ton of Knicks stuff though and a ton of people here too. Last years sale was a lot better.
