Carcillo and his game misconduct

Ok so I missed it and what got him kicked out of the game? So he got a penalty no biggie but did he run his mouth or what?

Ah I was curious about that too. Then I guess he was the one who snapped his stick over the bench and got the game misconduct?

Also, very glad we dressed 7 D so Syvret could play the last 19 seconds of the game.
Looks like Pronger will be back to 20+ minutes next series. Obviously no need to overwork him at all like last year, unless we get Tampa and need to use him for particular matchup.

Good on him. He scored more goals this series than Gaustad, Connolly and Boyes put together

Yep, that was him lol. It looked like Pronger was yelling at him to cool off and head to the locker room.

I was thinking Saturday (afternoon probably) would be the most likely day for game 1. Game 1 last year was that Saturday. Friday night doesn't seem likely (possible sixers game plus it being the 29th when the schedule will likely be decided on the 28th? Too soon, it seems). There's always Sunday though--it could be then too.

If the Flyers play like they did tonight, then it's irrelevant, because none of those teams can beat us when we play like that. Period.

Neither can Washington, for that matter.
This my friend is the answer.

Watching last night, all I could think about was the Washington game where the Flyers came back from 4 goals down and dominated the 2nd, 3rd and overtime only to lose in a shootout.

Damage control by the stripes. Game was getting out of hand and there was nothing stopping Carcillo from dropping the mitts. Easiest way around it was send him for an early shower. I'll take the trade off at that point.

Does anybody know if Carcillo was able to come back out for handshakes?

I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but NHL.com now has a video up of Boucher wearing the orange beard last night.

Which is a great sign, because it means we got in his head. That's a tough thing to do to Ryan Miller, and the Flyers pulled it off.
