We match up best against the Penguins.

Tampa and Boston present different problems.

Tampa has some players we have major trouble stopping: Stamkos, LeCavalier, Purcell, St. Louis and a monster power play.

Boston has the best team defense, a top level goalie and big time motivation after last year.

In the end, while I think both would be equally difficult to beat, playing Boston would be a lot more physical series, and likely to leave us more beat up than a series with Tampa.

Pittsburgh

Tampa

Boston

Tampa for totally selfish reasons - I will fly south for games 3 and 4 and soak up the sun and do a little fishing as well.

Penguins / Tampa / Boston in that order, though I strongly believe a series against TBay wouldn't look at all like the farcical scripts that played out in the regular season.

The only team that concerns me is the Flyers themselves. The good Flyers should be able to beat any team. The bad Flyers are doomed. Bottle up that game last night and repeat it 12 times, and we'll be planning parade routes.

I voted Tampa for ***** and giggles, but since I have a lifetime bet with my friend (10$/game) I would like to rack in some more money this year off the Pens.

Lightning. Pens are a rival, and weird things can happen with rivals. And not having to go through both the Bruins and Caps in the same postseason was the reason I wanted #1 so badly, so if the Habs take care of them, that's cool with me.

I know their shorthanded, but it'd still be fun to knock out the Penguins.

Guys Boston is so tough with Chara and Lucic that they terrify me. Bruins are ten times worse than Pens and TB put together.

Mtl and Bos now tied 2-2 in the 2nd. Pray that Mtl can pull it off!

Pens are the absolute best opponent. TB is second best. Bruins are a nightmare. Big and bad, deep and balanced.

PS Boston even has a decent third line with Peverly and Kelly. Their defense besides Chara has two offensive performers in Kaberle and Wideman.

Scary, Terrifying. Three scoring lines, plus offense coming from Chara, Kaberle and Wideman. Punishing hits from Chara and Lucic. Nathan Horton is also big at 230 lbs. Not good.

1.Wideman is not on the Bruins anymore.
2.Did the big bad Bruins beat us up at all last year?
3.We have better depth up front.
4.We have the better defense.

Bruins power play is worse than the Flyers.

-1 for 21 in the series so far.

watching the pens and lightning game, and the only reason I would not want to play tampa is having to watch 4 or more hockey games of a team playing a 1-3-1 trap. I am frusterated beyond words watching the game and flyers arent even playing. Although I do think we could take them out. Their backend just could not shut down our 3 lines, and roloson no matter how good he plays is no miller.

1. I stand corrected on Wideman

2. Bruins are better/even tougher than last year, Horton weighs 235 and he wasnt there last year

3. Our superior forward depth (on paper) struggled to score since Jan 1st and made MIller look like the second coming

4. Our defense includes a Pronger who is at maybe 60-80 percent. BUT yes, our defense is better but then look at the goaltending... we practically NEED six all star Dmen with the sieves we have in net ...

Not trying to be negative but I am worried, very very worried.

on miller, sure, he had 2 SO's, but they also scored 5,3,3,5 and 4 on him in the other 5 games.

On our sieve's, boosh played about 10 bad minutes and outplayed miller the rest of the way (and was very good in the 1-0 loss)
