The inabilty to clear the puck from the defensive zone and winning faceoffs all series finally caught to them, the hard way.

Yeah sadly Price didn't live up to Halak in the playoffs and still has some rough edges to take care of. It was nearly impossible to live up to the run Halak made possible last year though... plus Price is the reason we're in the playoffs to begin with. He'll get better.

I still some tweaking needs to be done....but what this team has done is borderline miraculous.

Good job. Great series.

I'm rediculously crushed right now. It was a great effort. But we lost to them.

I'm not going to say a bad word about anyone tonight. Even Gomez.

It was awesome being a Habs mod. I'll miss infracting some of you, lol. Thanks for making it easy on me everyone.

Well, now i can keep watching hockey without having risks of heart attacks. Oh well, congrats to the Bruins for winning this, it is very well deserved. A long epic battle in the best rivalry of all sports.

Bruins.

That said, I'm a bit disappointed, but it's fine, only a game. I doubt Flyers lose to the Bruins with what we've seen. Next year, let's hope we aren't decimated with injuries and that we improve our game all around.

I'm hopping on the Red Wings bandwagon. And cheering any team that eliminates the Bruins.

I think they're going to meet in the ECF. I don't see Philly doing it this year.

I'm obviously quite heart broken right now, it's a tough pill to swallow because it could have just as easily been us winning. Very proud of the team regardless of tonight's outcome, just very sour right now.

Proud of the team, they fought till the end.

In the post season Id like to see how Gauthier will re-build the defense and I hope we draft a power foward. I hope we add more physicality overall in the roster.

And Gomez...tahnk god its over for him. I dont know how will PG handle the situation, but something needs to be done.

Nice to see the boys not give up, was a great effort. Would've been nice to see what we could've done if we had someone with talent instead of Darche and Moen in our top 6.

The future looks really bright with Price and Subban.

Losing in 7 games during overtime goes to show how the series really could have gone either way. Goals for and against were really close too. Bruins aren't any better than the Habs and Habs aren't significantly better than the Bruins and the end it came down to the bounces.

All things considered I was reasonably happy with the year.

Wow guys that was one hell of a series.

You guys should be proud. With all the injuries you guys had this year and in the playoffs. Amazing.

I am afraid of what your team will be like healthy.

Great series and thank you to all the posters who visited the Bruins board and were classy over there.

Sometimes you have to be very patient for karma. I watched the Bs take us out for a few years before we finally won the cup in 93.

Don't worry. We were a 6th seeded team, with a lot of injuries and we took them to overtime in game 7. So lets all be good Hab fans and cheer for their downfall.

They battled hard, and put on a good show.

We've got a good young nucleus to boot. Can only get better... (save for Gomez, Hamrlik, Spacek...)

Yeah, there is. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow, but one day.

And yeah, certainly can't fault the Habs for their compete level. O/T in game 7, could have gone either way. Habs were carrying the play as well.

Too bad, they couldn't have won this series.

The Habs put up a good fight.

The PK goal was priceless.

The Bruins will get crushed in the next round.

The Canadiens need to get more players who can win board battles. We lost way too many of them in tonights game.

At least we gave them a great fight. They won 3 games in OT. Usually its us who wins the OT games.
