Keep the blue and lose the yellow in my opinion. Maybe im a little biased being a Michigan State fan and always hating U of M's colors, which that looks pretty close to, but I think any jersey with yellow as its main theme ends up looking bad. The only exception is the Lakers yellow/purple.

That solid blue 3rd jersey I saw against the wings looked really good though. I really think they should move towards using that as their main home jersey, and then a white variation on that with simple blue and silver piping at the bottom/sleeves for their away jersey.

That thing is awesome, one of the better jerseys being used right now across the league, and way better than their regular home jersey I think.

the sad part is that this'll never happen, due to the fact that David Freeman is no longer the Chairman of the Board

We should embrace the dark blue and white. Maybe not the exact version that Freeman is responsible for, but I think it can be done. Maybe some more white down the sleeves or across the bottom or something. Either way, please no yellow as the dominant color.

Get used to the idea of gold/yellow boys and girls. You'll be looking at it for many years to come.

I think the same, theres way too much gold/sepia toned pictures this post season to not be hinting at something. Just whats going gold, the away jersey or a whole new gold jersey based on the 3rds.
So, reposting these, concepts only, dont think i have some inside source, purely some recoloring going on, dont think too much into it.

Why do we feel the need to change some of the best non-original six jerseys?

Its awesome, it has an "old school"/original six look, even though the Preds are not old school, should be our main jersey

Its actually a template for the PC version of NHL09.
Also, I didnt do anything than change some colors around, 99% of the work was done by the awesome mod community at http://www.thebreakaway.net/forums/forum.php
Might take a registration (cant remember), but its worth it if you play any of the NHL PC games. Template is in the download section.

If you're going to get rid of a color take out the silver or at least remove it from the arms....looks horrible.
