Canucks fan here, it's time for you guys to bring the fanbase of the canucks down a peg. They have won a series and I can't stand having their fans and their arrogance on the same continent as me. Do the world a favor please.

I really like Nashville, their team, and their fans. Country music? I can overlook that. But I sincerely hope I find a reason to hate you guys respectfully. Let a good series begin, please.

Oh that's a good one Mr. HillBilly!
Hopefully we will beat the barley and oats outta them preds too!

Seriously, I have commended the Preds already on their 1st round victory, it's a great story, fans deserved that victory.

May the games begin!

Coming in as a Hawks fan, all my cheer is for the preds. I hope Suter and Weber shut down the Sedin's and company.

I hope they shut them down, too, but as long as they just keep them from winning games I'm ok with it.

Go Nashville!!!!!

Always had respect for the Preds. Glad you guys finally made it to the 2nd round. You have the entire Hawks Nation joining your fan base. Take out the Nucks.

I'm pulling for Preds for the WCF. That'd be a fun series.

I know he's made shameful plays that would make it seem like he's a dirty player, but I think it is just his excitement for the game that makes him irresponsible at times. He's one of the guys on the team that seems to keep on the lighter side of life, and he's gotten much more responsible over the years. Many Canucks fans love him because of his layman's journey to the NHL and his ability to score clutch goals, so thats why you'll find us wrongfully defending him to no end when he does make an irresponsible play. He's one of the most likable guys on our team, but I understand why everyone hates him. I guess there is a comparison to draw between Burrows and Tootoo, but I'm not going to really go there.
That was last year.......lets not act like he has been playing clean hockey for awhile now. He hasn't. He is almost the exact same player. I will grant you that he is a good hockey player. No one is saying he is not. The guy has grit and talent in a wonderful blend. However, he is also a dirty player who whines, dives, and attempts to draw penalties in an unsavory fashion. I have never seen a guy call out a ref as blatantly as he did. I've seen many that dive like Burrows, but rarely with the gritty game he also employs. I doubt he has many non-Vancouver fans because unless he is scoring for your team, there is very little to like about this guy. From a Predator fan's perspective, he single-handedly changed Dumont's career. Ugh.

Just thought it was pretty awesome seeing all of the support from other teams for the predators. (the sharks/wings fans sure as heck don't want to face us in next round ) it's going to be a very close grueling series.

Here's to a good series!
Actually out of SJ, Nashville, and Vancouver I would prefer the Wings would have to play Vancouver.

Nobody is scared of them.

Hawks fan here. Predators get my support! I only hate your team when we play against you, but other than that, I don't have anything against the Preds.

I hope the Blackhawks wore them down enough to help your team out. Make this a very difficult series for the Canucks please. And don't be afraid to run up the score!

Hey everyone. I was just watching "That's Hockey 2Nite" on TSN, and they quickly showed the Preds' roster. I noticed that they had both Steve Sullivan and J.P. Dumont on their 4TH LINE, which really came as a shock to me, seeing as how you'd think that both Sullivan and Dumont would be amongst your more dangerous offensive players...

Both Sully and JP aren't quite what they used to be. Both have had injuries over the last few years. That said, both played well in the first round.

looking forward to a great series... wouldn`t be surprised at all to see this one go 7. Intriguing goalie matchup between Rinne and Luongo... could be multiple shutouts this series

Being a Flames fan, I watched them play the Preds several times and they be good mon. Renne with 93% save pct., Their leading scorer had 50 points, they have huge nasty D. That's a team built for the playoffs imo, it'll be a long brutal series if anyone thinks Van will roll them over, enjoy the disappointment.

Lets go PREDS!!!

I've always had an affinity for these guys. I decided it is because you remind me of the Oilers clubs from my childhood with guys like Mike York, and Anson Carter on our top line.

That being said, I am friggen pumped for the second round. I honestly think the Preds match up against the Canucks better than any other team in the league. My Preds are the greasiest most annoying team in the league, and luckily for them the Canucks are the most prone to taking bad penalties. I also look forward to watching the Nucks have fits of claustrophobia with the lack of time and space afforded by Nashville's four 3rd lines.

I'm not going to guarantee that the Predators will win... but I do guarantee that they will out hit, out work, out specialty team, out depth, and most importantly out playoff beard the Vancouver Canucks. In the end I'll say that the series will depend on which Pekka Rinne and Roberto Luongo show up to play, but I honestly believe that the Canucks have their work cut out for them.

And while I know it is moot at this point, but the season series between Nashville and Vancouver had both clubs winning two, and the Predators outscoring the Canucks 9-6. I think people are really underestimating the Predators. They are 11-3-4 against the top-4 seeds this year, yet you sit there and look how many people are just writing the series off.
