Best part: "(Royalty) try dictate morality according to them about how you can dive, or how you should play, or how you shouldn't run a player into the center glass." That's it, Jack. Stick it to The Man for not letting Joe Enforcer – who just probably happens to be a Boston Bruin – just do his basic American duty and concuss an opponent on every play! What a windbag. So Lucic's major/game misconduct is somehow equated with the US throwing off the shackles of royalty?

Just like the new-found love that many Penguins fans have for your team?

history should tell everyone that playoff hockey is NOT regular season hockey
totally different animal
flyers have the better team here without a doubt

flyers in 5 this time around

I've never understood the bandwagon thing. When my team loses, in any sport, my preferred outcome is for the remaining teams to spontaneously combust, thereby ending my misery.

Yeah but there are still preferences. I want whoever plays Pittsbugh to win every time

Just in case things digress later on. Here is to a well played and exciting series by both teams. May the better team win.

Ok now back to our regularly scheduled oh and this for good measure

Jack Edwards is completely insane, but for whatever reason it amuses me. Probably because he's so completely and utterly out of touch with reality sometimes...and he sure hates the Habs, which is something I can get on board with.

As for this series, Boston has better goaltending...and that's it. Flyers have more forward depth, and their D is deeper and better than the Bruins as well.

I think the place the Flyers have the biggest advantage, though, is behind the bench. Julien is just not a great coach, IMO. Laviolette, OTOH, has been pretty good outside of the goaltending carousel in the first round. I'm still amazed at having a coach who knows how to use a timeout properly. All that said, I think it's not really close as to who has the better coaching here.

So, no prediction from me, but just a hope that the Flyers don't get too beat up in this round if they do advance. Oh, and one other thing boys: Let's give Edwards something to REALLY cry about. A couple of sound thrashings would be nice.

Hoping for a clean, hard fought, injury FREE series.

Can someone tell me with the best places to look for projected lineups as well as who's injured and expected back for this series? I am doing the GDT for Game 1 for us. Thanks
