Gorges played without a knee for three seasons. He got hit with pucks to the head and various collisions and just bounces back. I think Subban could use to stay at home mobile defensive partner, I wonder if Gorges would be the guy?

Yeah I'm still waiting for mine.

Glad to hear that Patches is doing so well. I'd much rather him take the rest of the summer off, and come back stronger than ever this fall.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Who knows, but maybe a full summer off will be a lot better for Max long term.

Well, you can see it that way. But maybe it is much better to rest him longer. You don't want to rush someone back from something like that. So maybe, yesterday's loss was a blessing.

Let's just cheer on Philly right now in the next series. It took Boston 7 games, 3 of them very tight OT wins, to oust a lower seeded team with key players injured. Let them have their hollow victory for now. Things will work out in the end.

Yeah I kinda wish I didn't know this information. All the what ifs come to mind... Like what if Chara had tried to paralyze him in the 8-6 game instead and we had him in the lineup for the whole playoffs...

This year was just not our year. No point questioning what if.

Well that does make a lot of people look like idiots.

Paraphrased from that thread where someone asked about an eventual Pacioretty return 1-2 weeks ago :

"Omg Pacioretty is gone until at least next season, stop asking are you stupid.. damn"

If you don't mind a Bruins fan's perspective, our team rushed Marc Savard back too soon and it didn't work out so hot for us. Patches is better to rest and make SURE he's 100% before coming back. I trust Canadiens team doctors about as much as I trust Bruins team doctors.

It's bad, I decided to drown it out by getting a Flyers avatar. Can't go wrong with LeClair other choice would of been Desjardin, sadly we traded both for that reject cracker jack license doctor Recchi.

Oh H10H... you got hit hard brother...

Kinda happy I didn't post much during the playoffs, because I'd for sure be sporting one of those fancy new avatars

Good to hear that he is making good progress in his recovery. It is also a good thing he has a whole summer to recover as well.

BTW, I think we would have won with him in the lineup. He was turning into quite a decent power forward in the last half of the season.

I'm calling ********. Just last week we were receiving reports that he was still far from returning and he had still not resumed skating since that one time he stepped on the ice. He was never at practice or anything, how in the world would he have been cleared to play...

Complete lie in my opinion.

It wasn't the doctors that were to blame. Savard lied about being symptom free.

The worst thing you can do with a concussion is trying to come back early. I'd take Pacioretty's career over a series win any day of the week. Injuries are pretty common for our players when they face the Bruins.

Glad he's ok, but I think it's for the best he did not play in the playoffs. Take your time, Max.
