That would've been awesome, but oh well.

I would have loved to see Subban on the National team again, I think he just needs to take a breather from the long season. He's played a LOT of hockey between the AHL last season, AHL/NHL playoffs, his first NHL season and these playoffs where he was playing 28+minutes a game.

Subban and Cammalleri turn down Canada because of injuries

Subban and Cammalleri have both turned down Team Canada for the Worlds because of injuries as per TSN.

Pretty impressive Playoffs for these too, injured en plus.

as per his RDS interview, Eller dislocated his shoulder (or did he say seperated shouler) and came back in the same game.

It seems that Yannick Weber is on his way to Slovakia. There is no official word yet, but rumours say so.

I don't want Subban or Price or even Eller anywhere near those games.

The habs just can't afford to lose these guys due to a fluke accident or rare odd hit leading to an injury.

Now if Gomez was to go and get hurt enough not top play for the habs the next 3 years i might even pay for the plane flight to get him there.

that can't be right, on the Bruins boards they were saying that he was faking. And you know how credible they are . . .

There's a huge pharma company based in India called Dr. Reddy's - maybe someone can photoshop that into Dr. Recchi's

I heard on CKAC that he put it back himself while on the ice after the hit.

Really pleased with how well Eller played in the post-season. Has a lot of hockey sense plus skill plus grit = bodes well for the future.

I agree. I knew it was an awkward position to be in and that it must have been his shoulder. It may not have dislocated completely and might have just subluxed out of socket a bit. Mine used to do that just from a simple stretch of the arms in the air until I had surgery. Mine was a hockey injury as well. You can still play with it but if you externally rotate it.....out it goes. Hopefully, he works on muscle strength around the shoulder and avoids surgery.

According to a Swiss hockey site [1] (German language). Sean Simpson surprisingly filled the last Swiss roster spot with Beat Gerber, instead of Yannick Weber. Thus, Weber has to wait (at least) until Qualification Round to play for the Swiss team.

I guess it's totally unimportant....but I don't like, but I understand, the fact that we have once again nobody on Team Canada. I mean, we had the possibility to still cheer for something and having incentives to do so and yet PK and Carey can't go. Frustrating even if some can't care about the Worlds.

Strange that with the playoffs he had, that Canada didn't need Cammy.

I believe he, as well as Price were asked but turned down the invite.
