And the question is... if he doesn't make it into the top 7 coming out of camp, do the Sabres deal him and his 1-way deal?

Right now he's in that fight for what looks like #6/7 with Campbell. Since BC is already signed to substantially less and they may take a long look at Janik and Paetsch in camp, where does Jillson fit if he fails to round out the mental part of his game?

This guy would have been CRAZY not to sign at that #

He is my least favorite player. Everytime I see him, he's bad.

Hopefully he'll surprise me

Ehh, at least he's better than Dave Cullen and Brandon Smith

I don't get how you think this guy is over paid at this number! He's a steal at that number. How much did Delmore make last year?

We can't afford to have projects on the defense this year. If he loses his roster spot to Janek or Campbell, Darcey needs to move him. If he can't find any takers, let him pass through wavers.

From what I've heard this guy had a very unimpressive year in Rochester. He's too far along in his career to be sucking in the AHL. Several teams have shuffled this guy out of their prospect pool, I'm starting to think that is for a reason.

He's much more deserving of a roster spot than Tallinder is.

If you think Pyatt is overpaid. then surely Jillson is overpaid right? No matter how much some may dislike Pyatt, he won't lose a game for you. Jillson is good for 4 or 5 losses on his own. IMO.

hahah, that's funny, losing the roster spot to campbell

jillson is a very talented player. i admit he still needs to develop more of a defensive conscience, but he has all the tools to be a great defenseman in the nhl.

It seems he's missing the most important tool on most nights.... a brain.
