Lots. Goligoski got Neal and Niskanen. So just extrapolate from there.

True, but most consider that a lop-sided trade/bad deal for Dallas. I think a better question to ask is, what could the Habs get for Subban, in a FAIR deal.

To be honest I wouldn't do it, the Flyers might. They have plenty of offensive talent and JVR looks like he has finally put it together. We can definitely use a player like Jeff Carter but can't really afford losing Subban

I think it's a pretty fair deal

Honestly they would . They would have 2 great wingers to play with Crosby and a young D-Man.

So this is what happens here when the injury-riddled Habs get eliminated by a Game 7 OT goal?

We (hypothetically) trade Subban? or MaxPac? our most exciting prospects in a generation...

Its become time to leave HFboards behind until the draft/free agency, I guess...

Note: I may still post because I am slightly addicted to HF

yeah but now they have Crosby,Neil,Staal,Kennedy and this guy

Pens will be a force next year.

Honestly if you had Crosby and Malkin on the same team you wouldn't want to trade Malkin for two young players

How much salary is he worth? I'd probably argue that he's worth $3.5-$4.5 million. Guy has high level skills and skating and can take a beating and keep on ticking. Not to mention, he's clutch.

He also has 1 more year on his ELC. So, for a team that's tight to the cap and wants to put all their eggs in one basket and go for it, he could fit in nicely for them.

It's nice going with Price, Subban and Pacs. I'd like a better forward than Pacs, though.

If I had Crosby and Malkin on the same team I'd roll the dice on MaxPac/Subban in a heart beat. People forget the fact that it frees up cap space for a few seasons allowing them to even sign a UFA after making their team even better. They'd win like 2-3 cups easy if they made this deal and that's what the point of the sport is, to win the cup.

Yeah, I don't think any team can afford to trade a player like Subban, who is already contributing at a high level on his ELC. Not unless the return is huge and compensates for the cap-friendly contract.

sorry man but you are way wrong.

Malkin could produce more than everyone in the Habs playing with Darche and Moen.

MaxPac is good but they have Kennedy and he's very underated and still very young. They don't need MaxPac

I love Subban but Pens D squad is already really good.

Max Pac and Subban <<<< Malkin if we are talking winning cups.

Pens center depth is incredible

Crosby
Malkin
Staal.

They already won a cup with these guys and their team will be better next year.
