Get to it, Preds! Pecorino Romano can't keep the puck out of the net by himself, so a bit of D would be a good plan. And scoring some goals would also help the situation.

Well he better. I want him to win the Conn Smythe.

Can we just never go on the power play again?

I hate not getting any chance to see Colin Wilson play. It feels like watching the offensive challenges of a couple previous incarnations of the team, while Trotz sits a guy would help out.

Oh well, I don't need gratuitous entertainment, as long as this style pays off with wins. Let's go Predators!

1-0 an insurmountable lead for the Preds, at least against the Canucks. Sad thing is we've dominated, but that's hockey.

I'm a Caps fan here to say 2 things.

1. I'm rooting for you guys.

2. Jonathan Blum is going to be awesome.

That's the frustrating part. Just want someone to figure out how to convert the chances.

These games have felt like the games the team would go through when they were slumping in the regular season. Just no finishers right now, and the puck feels like it's just out of arms length every time a player has an opening to grab it and throw it at the net.

Also, D men are having issues getting the puck out of the zone on the breakout when Vancouver chooses to forecheck hard. That said, when the forwards do get the puck they're doing a much better job of entering the zone and getting the puck deep then supporting it along the wall. That's good to see, just need to finish (I'm looking at you Ward).

4 quick hits

1. I hate Burrows, just looking at his stupid face infuriates me and I dont know quite why. He just has the face of a man that you want to hate. At least for me anyway.

2. Why do Shea Weber shots only hurt his team mates and never the enemy? Bizarre.

3. Sure would be nice to score A goal. At least this game is more entertaining than the last one.

4. I miss Pete and Crispy, these VS guys are driving me nuts. When we check it is contact. When the Canucks check it is ZOMG Kesler with a punishing hit! etc etc etc blah blah blah.

Congrats on the goal! Sheesh, I wished the Flyers played with half of the Preds' effort today. Man, great game.

Oh, does Legwand ruin this many offensive opportunities on a normal basis? He's the only kink I see in a great forecheck.

Where is everyone tonight? I'm having trouble getting in...anyway, great to see the effort rewarded. Sometimes the hockey gods smile... now win it for Marty's teeth...and back....and jaw....and ear.

Rinne vs. Luongo in OT?

We could be in for a long night. Good bounce back effort so far for the Preds.

Maybe some more negative mojo for overtime:

Preds have no chance in overtime.
