Hate philly, but Boston fans and their media are so ridiculous im pulling for the flyers. I can't count how many times I've heard boston fans call into the Montreal radio stations for the past couple months. Their inferiority complex is just annoying now.
doesn't bother me, as long as you remind yourself that they are in fact still inferior, they can talk **** all they want.
i really enjoyed boston as a city when i went 5 years ago, but these days, the more i've seen how these morons act like neanderthals when they go out, the less i think i want to go back. and i'm not talking about their hockey fans. just those dumb crew cut jock looking, american eagle and sandles wearing with pierced ears and tribal tattoo morons that you see getting in scraps all over youtube, i think i just hate them. why would i go and visit boston now as opposed to spending my time in NYC which is awesome in every regard. i'd rather grab a 'beeya' in new york anyday.
I feel bad for Luongo, I know he'll get his share of flack if the Nucks screw up, but the realy story is the Sedin broz imo. Daniel has 5goals, but 3 of them come in the first 3games vs Chicago where the Hawks were complete no-shows. But ever since intensity picked up, their play as taken a back seat. Daniel since Game4, has 2G -6, while Henrik has 1A -7. Not quite the numbers you want your best two players to have in the POs.
I'm glad Nashville was able to get back into it. Rinne is easily proving to everyone why he's up for that Vezina, while Trotz is slowly proving to people why he should win the Jack Adams.
Nashville is my pick in the west, as they've been the underdog in both series (much like the Habs last year). Rinne has been simply stellar, and the team is playing hard-nose playoff-style hockey. Very gritty- not always the most entertaining, but definitely hard to play against.
If they can knock-out the Canucks, and Philly can eliminate Boston, THAT would be my Stanley Cup.
Totally agree with this. We had no answer to Bergeron. Plekanec, Gill & Subban completely shut down the Krejci line. The other lines were fine. Bergeron vs Gomez killed us.
The Flyers can still come back though, but they need to be more physical and show more speed. But if the Bruins go to the Stanley Cup final with the Habs being the toughest team they faced, I think that just hurts more.
Horton scored two game winning OT goals Habs as a team were very fast and tough for any team ,especially in playoffs were they all pick it up.I think Bruins are gonna hurt Flyers.
