Player of the week

http://thehubofhockey.net/2011/05/01...k-april-24-30/

Who do you think was the best of the best over the last three games last week?

Bergeron leads the team in points, hits and shots on goal...
Marchand continues to elevate his game, scoring in four of his last five...
Thomas has posted a .925 SV% ...

I'm going with the darkhorse: Dennis Seidenberg.

What do you all think?

Thomas or Bergeron. What's funny is they were both overrated and overpaid just a few months ago

surprised at the lack of Kelly love, showed up big time for us last week.

-Thomas
-Bergeron
-Kelly

I think we can all agree that the "Has Thomas Ever Stolen a Game For Us In the Playoffs" thread has been answered. Thomas is the reason we're not golfing right now, and Horton's double clutch.

Seidenberg has been under appreciated. His timely pinches down the walls have led to a few goals, and a more dangerous offense in general.

How can it not be Horton?

Two OT winners in a 7 game series against a hated rival that has had Boston's number over the years.

He has played better as of late. There were a few times early in the Montreal series that he had me shaking my head. Maybe not as much as Boychuk but pretty damn close.
It's great to see Seidenberg pick it up.

Since being paired with Chara in game 4 of habs series (if I'm not mistaken), Seidenberg has been an absolute beast both offensively and defensively. He's been pinching in a lot more, and doing it a lot more effectively than any other Bruins D. Rock solid.

Marchand was the best player in the series versus MTL, and he's continued to be a key part of their offense in game one versus the Flyers. Hopefully he keeps it up!! He's been great all year.

Absolutely. People are seriously overthinking this.

I think its hard to pick one guy..but it would have to be Horton..2 gamer winners, 1 of which won the series..

Marchand - gotta love the guy, hes been a beast for us lately and producing timely.

Kelly - scored some big goals, giving it all hes got, good on draws

Bergeron - Awesome in faceoffs, leading team in hits, points etc..hes going all out and it shows

Seidenberg - Has been a lot better lately and his pinches have helped us on offense.

Thomas - clutch, very clutch, timely saves. Came up big at the right times

You could make a list for nearly half of the team right now. Everyone has been picking it up and producing. Except maybe 2-3 guys who are in my ****house but the rest have all been pretty clutch for us.

Has to be Patrice Bergeron for me, he is looking like our Zetterberg right now. The guy is winning face offs, putting up points, playing solid defense, doing just about anything and everything to make this team win. I think if Boston goes all the way and wins the Cup, Bergeron wins the Conn Smyth.

Bard Marchand does deserve a nod but I can't think of much reason to pick him over Bergeron, Bergeron just does so much more which is really saying something considering how awesome Marchand has been.

I wouldn't say Thomas because while he has been really good, he has given up a good amount of shaky goals already in the playoffs.

Horton has scored two important OT winners but aside from that, he hasn't done too much. He isn't known for his defense and those were 2 of his 3 goals in the first round along with 0 assists. I honestly think Julien should swap Recchi and Horton though because Horton looks like he has no help with Krejci and Lucic on his line while Horton really looks like he wants to play.

Chara should also get some credit, shut down defensemen very rarely get credit for how important they are to a team but his return in the first series just shows how important he is to the team.

This is all just the first round though, I missed game 2 because I was at work.
