They never showed a replay and the original footage didn't show it all that great anyway. I'm sure it will hit Youtube but it won't be a great view of the hit either way, more than likely.

Save this post, it'll make me look like Nostradamus by this time next year.
You could really see his smarts out there yesterday on the bigger surface with more time and space. Hopefully, the NHL game slows down for him a bit next year and he can translate that skill to the Rangers. If he can he'll be a great one, and 40 assists won't be out of the question at all (maybe not next year though).

Victor Fasth, a goalie, will possibly play next game (as opposed to our draft pick Jesper Fasth).

Interview with Stepan from Norwegian hockey-site before todays game between Norway and USA.

http://translate.google.com/translat...dvart-av-zucca

I know the translation is a little bit off but you get the gist of it.

Versus crew keeps making Zach talk about the NYR players.

I think weak opponent played bigger role than ice size for Stepan.
Also, no NHL goalie would allow Krieder's goal, no one.

That's not even remotely true. Are you assuming that soft goals -never- happen to NHL goalies? Even Lundqvist lets in a soft one every once in awhile.

USA having trouble versus Norway early.

Soft goal by Montoya (An NHL goaltender) followed by a smith giveaway for a SH breakaway goal. 2-0 Norway.

Would've been funny (ironic) if MZA wasn't injured and was the one scoring on McDonagh & Co. today.

Haha! If Norway stays out of the box anything is possible. Though I have to say I am pretty sure the US will strike back sooner or later. Fun to watch Norway nowadays though. Especially without Zucc, Thoresen and not least Vikingstad who retired from the national squad. Even their captain and veteran hung up the skates as a international after the olympics.

Even the goalie hero from the olympics is benched due to the back ups effort against Sweden!

Dang!

Viking fingers crossed!

Not like this one. May be over the shoulder, which would be still embarrassing. This was "goaltending 101".

I think he was trying to make stuff happen himself too much in period two, and then taking the penalty.

Dammit I missed a goal.

Wow, what a saucer pass by Kreider on the Palmeri goal. Kid has all the tools. 2 on 2 rush, Kreider gets it past his defender and the defender in front of the next to hit Palmeri streaking towards the net. Although it hit Palmeri's skate, it was a beauty of pass and a goal Gabby would score 99% of the time
