What team would win TV-Pucken...

...if all the best players where to attend and there would be no age limit? Stockholm would be the clear favourite right?

Kristian Huselius - Robert Nilsson - Patric Hörnqvist
Jacob Josefson - Marcus Krüger -Gabriel Landeskog
Linus Klasen - Tony Mårtensson - Mika Hannula
Patrik Zackrisson - Andreas Engqvist - Jonas Andersson
Oscar Möller - Niklas Persson

Henrik Tallinder - Nicklas Kronwall
Johny Oduya - Douglas Murray
Elias Fälth -Alexander Urbom
Daniel Fernholm - Staffan Kronwall

Johan Hedberg
Henrik Karlsson
Jhonas Enroth

Hm I thought we would have a better team than this, damn you Södermanland/Uppland for stealing our players!

I always thought Grossman was from Stockholm, turns out he's actually from Vagnhärad which is close, but not close enough.

I don't think any other region beats that depth, but the team kind of lacks star power (compared to say Ångermanland with the Sedins, Edler, Hedman..). Maybe when Landeskog, Zibanejad, Josefson.. are more established in the NHL is will look better.

This is a pretty neat thread. Good idea. I'll see if I can get a Gothenburg team together.

Loui Eriksson - Joakim Andersson - Daniel Alfredsson
Viktor Stålberg - Sebastian Karlsson - Fredrik Pettersson
Nicklas Lasu - Mikael Johansson ('81) - Magnus Kahnberg
Patrik Carlsson - Anders Eriksson ('85) - Calle Klingberg

John Klingberg

Yup, that sucked. Could only think of one defenseman.

Göteborg got a nice firstline, but there seems to be absolutely no d-men coming from this town.

Loui Eriksson - Alex Steen - Daniel Alfredsson
Viktor Stålberg - Joakim Andersson - Fredrik Pettersson
Nicklas Lasu - Anders Eriksson - Carl Klingberg
Anton Axelsson - Sebastian Karlsson - Per-Johan Axelsson

Mathias Porseland - John Klingberg
Richard Demén-Willaume - ?
? - ?

Robin Lehner
Pontus Hansson

Småland is a nice team, lots of talent there.

Mattias Tedenby - Johan Franzén- Mattias Weinhandl
Martin Thörnberg- Niklas Olausson - Pär Arlbrandt
Simon Hjalmarsson - Johan Davidsson - Björn Melin
Jesper Fasth - David Ullström - André Petersson

Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Erik Karlsson
Niklas Hjalmarsson - David Petrasek
Timmy Pettersson - Adam Almqvist

Stefan Liv
Jonas Gunnarsson

Ångermanland (started out great, ended terrible. I had to fill up with juniors from Modo to get a full team)

Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Niklas Nordgren
Anders Söderberg - Niklas Sundström - Mario Kempe
Anton Byström - Per Svartvadet -Andreas Molinder
John westin - Joakim Matsson - Johan Nilsson

Thomas Enström - Victor Hedman
Tommy Wargh - Jens Westin
Hans Jonsson - Oscar Hedman

(Edler is from Jämtland)

edit:Your forwardselection is better than mine for Göteborg Systemfel (well I included Steen), but I found two more d-men!

An attempt at team Skåne. Probably missed a few.

Not sure which team Daniel Tjärnqvist was eligible for, but his brother played for Skåne. Some other forward candidates are Martin Johansson, Christopher Liljewall, Ted Brithén or Robin Nilsson-Alvarez. On defense maybe Patrik Hersley, Anton Blomqvist (simply based on him playing in the AHL at the end of the season) or youngsters like Peter Andersson and Rasmus Bengtsson.

Magnus Pääjärvi - Marcus Johansson - Andreas Thuresson
Fabian Brunnström - Carl Söderberg - Gustav Nyquist
Mattias Persson - Mattias Sjögren - Mathias Tjärnqvist
Alexander Bergström - Jesper Mattsson - Björn Svensson

Kim Johnsson - Andreas Lilja
Daniel Tjärnqvist - Daniel Glimmenvall
Johan Björk - Jens Olsson

Cristopher Nihlstorp
Magnus Åkerlund/Oscar Alsenfelt

Fun thread!
But Västerbotten.. eh.. no fun..
Take half of Skellefteå AIKs players, add some other SEL/AS-guys and that's pretty much it.

I guess the 90's and early 00's were the "dark ages" in Västerbotten (still is in umeå) and not exactly the best time for players to develop here.
The youngsters are looking strong now though! (Positive thinking.)

EDIT: Might as well..
Don't have the time to go searching on eliteprospects so I might miss some, but these guys are the first to cross my mind:

Joakim Lindström - Erik Forssell - ??
Alexander Sundström - Fredrik Warg - ??
Jonathan Hedström - ?? - ??
Oscar Lindberg - Martin Lundberg - Melker Karlsson

Easier to find some D's though, I'm thinking something like..

Kristofer Berglund - David Rundblad
Erik Andersson - Adam Larsson
Tim Erixon - Alexander Hellström
Daniel Rahimi, Daniel Sondell or Niclas Burström.
Although I have to admit I have no idea how Hellström or Sondell are doing now..

Goalies: ..Johan Backlund?

As Teus mentioned, Mathias and Daniel Tjarnqvist are from Vännäs outside of Umeå but moved away so I don't know if they would qualify.
Jimmie Ericsson was born in Skellefteå, moved away in his youth but has now moved back so I don't know about him either.

Örebro län (they have to play with only two lines, since I couldn't be bothered adding more div.1 players I don't know anything about. Henrik Warman is included though since he got a cool name.)

Johan Adolfsson - Johan Ryno - Markus Andersson
Markus Jonasén - Daniel Wallén- Andreas Jensen

Mattias Karlsson - Carl Gunnarsson
Stefan Warg - Johan Larsson
Emil Axelsson - Henrik Warman

Tim Harrysson
Marcus Högberg

Guldsmedshytte SK had a great u-16 SM though so your time is coming, the golden 95's will save you.

Edit: At least Västerbotten would win the epic rival fight against Norrbotten I think.

Nah, they have both NHL, AHL and KHL-players that can bring more high-end skills... Maybe we'd have a slightly better D-core but that's it.

Oh right.. mixed his background up with Enström's. Had I bothered double-checking the fact that he was drafted while playing for "Jämtland Hockey" should probably have given it away, heh.

Maybe everyone's favourite Andreas Jämtin should make team STHLM too, but there's quite a few players at a similar level so it's a bit of a toss-up.

Smålands team looks great btw.

the future looks a bit better for örebro län, yeah. henrik warman seems to be decent. at least someone useful if örebro stays in allsvenskan.

but seriously, besides gunnarsson it's just sad.

Nice to see Linköping HC's J18 and J20 keepers making this thread. =)

Östergötland is (or at least has been) a dry spot for hockey talent but here's the few that, with a stretch, could count.

Jimmie Ericsson - Erik Lindhagen - Andreas Sundin
Henrik Bankelius - Johan Bülow - Viktor Ringberg (?)

Magnus Johansson - Jonas Junland
Mattias Bäckman - Albin Lorentzon

Christian Engstrand

Aren't all these guys way too old to be in TV-pucken?

Yes, which is why the thread is about what if there wasn't an age limit.

We'll have to bring Calle Johansson out of retirement!
