Every instinct they had in game 1, they should just do the opposite.

Flyers hoping to author different tale in game two

http://nhlhotstove.com/flyers-hoping...e-in-game-two/

Quote:
In the first round, the Philadelphia Flyers lost a 1-0 decision to Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres before eventually claiming the series in seven hard-fought games.

The Flyers also dropped the opening contest in the Eastern Conference Semifinals in a 7-3 pounding by the Boston Bruins.

The two losses had very different feels. The game against Buffalo had the team thinking “What if?” about one bounce here or there, while there was no doubt about who deserved the win on Saturday. The Bruins proved time and again that they were the superior club on that day.

Syvret and Walker were on the ice as was Rinaldo and Shelley. Carle says they won't find out about Pronger til gametime.

BroadStBull: After Game 2, Lavy said Pronger was fine, even tho he went down tunnel w 2 mins left. Pronger did not talk to media. Said he lost voice.

Makes perfect sense that a player recovering from injury doesn't play in the final minutes of a blowout. Actually leaving the bench is a little more scary, and the fact that he didn't skate this morning is as well, but I'm sure he'll be out there for 20 min tonight regardless.

Also, Pronger did not skate because of an illness. He is expected to play.

Would I be correct in assuming its Boosh in net again?

Flyers really need this win!

Based on the "first goalie off the ice..." at today's skate, that is a correct assumption.

Yeah, he will be.

Is it unpatriotic to boo Timmy Thomas tonight?

Well, another fine mess we've gotten ourselves into.

Game 2 and already we're in a must-win situation.

We absolutely cannot afford to go back to Boston down 2-0.

Great job on the GDT! For those going, sing loud and proud! Hoping for a hard fought, clean, injury free game.

Also, Pronger has a cold according to CSN Philly.

Here's to a good game!

I hope we actually show up today, that would nice.

If we do: 5-3 Flyers

If we don't: 4-1 Bruins

[QUOTE=dats81;32819517]
Flyers have yet to prove that they can beat a team as good and well-balanced as the Bruins in a 7 game series this year.

Boucher starting. I expect the Flyers to come out rocking after God Bless America tonight. If that doesn't get them going tonight after Bin Laden's death then nothing will! LET'S GO USA!!! LET'S GO FLYERS!!!!
