Would be terrific if the Lightning can get a strangehold on the series tonight. Doubt Washington dies without a fight though..

Yeah, these game 3s are HUGE. Hoping for Boston and Tampa wins...but realistically I'll be happy with just one of the series going to 3-0.

I think Boston has a better chance to take the 3-0 lead, mainly because of Philly's goaltending, and with all the infamous Capitals playoff woes, they've always shown resiliency and haven't been down 3-0 since the lockout.

I'd be thrilled if the Lightning win tonight, but I dont see it happening.

Any truth at all to the stories I'm seeing on the Devils and Penguins boards that Mike Emrick might leave New Jersey to take over for Steigerwald in Pittsburgh?

Crazy.

Who else could NJD find that would be willing to call games with Chico?

Wow, this allows an opportunity to create what would be quite possibly the worst broadcast team in the history of sports:

Steigerwald and Chico...

DO IT!

Edit: I have to think the Caps take this game, but really hope the Lightning just destroy them.

Someone needs to beat the hell out of Erskine.

Roloson with an amazing save.

Rolo is the calmest goalie. That toe save was smooth.

Purcell is soooo dirty. Another of the once highly touted LA Kings prospect pool that's prospering elsewhere (Purcell, Boyle, etc.)

Hell of a burst from Teddy Purcell there eh? I really like this TBL team regardless of who they're playing and how they helped the Rangers.

Brutal turnover by St. Louis leads to an eventual Caps goal.
