The Lightning ought to remember him pretty well. The way they're playing defensively lately I don't think he'd look nearly as good.

and Fehr goes on to score 20 goals despite only playing 10 min a game ...oh he`s already done that and still gets no ice times and is embarassed by his coach

You want solutions? Get rid of the soft, slow, unskilled players (i.e. Schultz). Bring in more mobility, tenacity, and heart. Then again, despite your hypocritical sniping, these are things I've been saying for a while.

And after this season, someone needs to be brought in to fix the PP. It also seems inevitable that a new voice needs to be brought in at the top. And despite what the haters say, that doesn't mean Bruce is a bad coach. He's not. Good coaches get fired all the time.
that`s the bottom line....well said

Commercials, book deals, appearances...dude loves the affection. He craves validation. Why do you think he apologizes to his players after calling them out? Throws incoherent temper tantrums and whines in the media when things don't go his way.

He's SO out of his league.

...And GMGM is responsible for the team having so many of these type of players. Thus, there is no way I can give him a free pass.

Bruce Boudreau will never lead a team to a Stanley Cup. Mark my words.

Why not scratch him, put Laich at C, and get Hendricks back in the lineup? Or scratch him for MP85? What could it hurt at this point?

See thats what is needed IMO. Not a goalie change to create a "spark", but scratching one of the "Stars" who is signed to a 10, multi million dollar, contract. Now that would be a SPARK!

I will also say this. I have nothing against Company Line posters who are just all about being supportive no matter what.

I am a so called Doom and Gloomer because I hate the way players like Eric Fehr and Mike Green play and have seen how awful we are coached and I won't keep quiet about it.

I still want the Caps to succeed. Even if I come across as negative. I just can't believe management is this blind. It's not fair to lifelong Caps fans.

We are all Caps fans and in the end we want the team to win.

That is all.

Maybe we will shock TB and win 4 straight?

Lol you're right NBTW....nobody critical of the coaching staff has ever suggested trading players.....all they do is complain about Bruce. Youre seeing what you want to see man. All of your vaunted suggestions have been rehashed a 1000 times here.

Its unbelievable that in the span of three games we went from thinking this team had a serious shot to make it to the finals to calling for the coach's head and blowing up a large chunk of the team. Its totally surreal.

But you're not even making arguments. You're just, ironically, sniping with one-liners.

Smugly.

And Bruce is a bad coach. Terrible, in fact ( of note: an argument to proceed claim). He put guys who can't win faceoffs on in crucial situations. He line-matches terribly. He hasn't amended strategically to our inability to break a 1-3-1; Brian Englomb (sp?) offered more intellectual creativity in suggesting we dump pucks to opposing corners than Bruce switched up for game three. He put the second best player in the world in the box voluntarily in a 4-on-4 situation in a tied, playoff hockey game.

Should I go on? Because I can.

You could fire the head coach. That would shake things up.

Well, you'd think a "good coach" would be around some time and eventually get it done right?

Babcock, Carlyle, Lavy, Bylsma, Lemaire, etc.

I think you have to have a winning playoff record to be considered a top 15 coach...unless you're Trotz or Tippett.
