I just want Schultz and Boudreau gone. Start there. Adding Eakin, a sandpaper skinned ginger with speed and some skill from western canada, will help and maybe keep everyone on D except Schultz. See how things go.

Why bench Sturm and not Nicky? Bench Nicky and put MP85 in the line up for the so called "spark". What could it hurt?
A message needs to be sent to the entire team that they need to pull their heads out of their *****, and quick. What better way then to take a player signed to a huge contract, that is playing like ****, and replace him with a kid in MP85 that would kill for another chance at the NHL level?
Neuvy has done nothing to deserve getting pulled in favor of Varley. If a statement needs to be made then make it by benching Nicky. I never thought Nicky would be the type to get a fat contract and coast. Well that appears to be the case. Time to make an example out of him.

It's a shame really. I'm not a Caps fan, but I'd be pissed if was in your position. The difference between the way this team plays in the regular season vs the playoffs is dumbfounding. Start drafting some NA players. Alzner and Carlson are good starts.

I disagree. Three playoffs ago, the team went on an amazing run down the stretch to make the playoffs and lost a heartbreaker to the flyers with a bs goal. Two playoffs ago, the team struggled against a mediocre New York team but won in 7 games then played a great series against the to be Stanley Cup champions until the 7th game complete implosion. Last playoffs, the team won the President's trophy and played well and got out to a lead against an outclassed team in the first round and proceeded to implode and lose the series to the number 8 seed. This year the team got the number 1 seed again and took care of business in the first round against a good New York team and is now probably going to be swept by a pretty good team in Tampa Bay. See all scenarios are completely different. Year after year, the team comes up with new ways to frustrate you.

If I was BB I would put Holtby in next game. I think he would step in and play amazing as he did in the regular season.
Did you see the last minute of tonight's game? The team had given up. They gave up in game three down by one goal with a minute to play and down in the series 2-0. That means they've given up.
