They did Boston/Philly #2 and they didn't call it there. I do have a feeling that all refs are going to be told to call it soon, so past behavior may not be so predictive.
With how much attention it's getting in the media I expect it to get called as well. Similar to Gillis calling out the refs. Hopefully they don't try to pull it or the refs give a warning before the actually start calling it.
Will be annoying if they suddenly decide to call something that has gone on for 2 games. Sometimes it's hard to be consistent between games but I would think this would be incredibly easy to be consistent on.
Another road game so I am wearing the road victory duds, light colored suit with teal shirt and tie to approximate the road colors. Wearing this suit during the day, Sharks are 3-0 these playoffs (all road games at LA), and wearing victory duds both home (black suit with teal shirt and tie) and away Sharks are 5-0 (And of course, each time the pic below was posted). Hoping to make it 6-0 tonight with this mojo! GO SHARKS!!!!

the heater, couture, jumbo joe in OT.
the rabbit thinks 2-1 SJ.
pavelski and couture.
I cant watch the game tonight (my first sharks playoff game that ill be missing in the last 3 years ....very emotional about this lol). The rabbit is my and the sharks' good luck charm though. Trust me on this.
Wings don't want a repeat of last year (going down 0-3) so will swap Draper and Miller in the lineup, and perhaps split Zetterberg and Datsyuk into separate lines.
Sharks may be moving Marleau down a line - or it could be playoff gamesmanship. Not playing the "will be lockerroom fodder" card in quotes and comments, but want to ground the Wings - HARD (snow showers or whatever). Want to show competitive, "no mercy" side.
Errata of the day: "Scott McLellan" now coaches the Sharks per Detroit paper.
If Detroit can take anything as a sign of respect from Sharks fans, it is this...
I think this game is just as important for the Sharks as it is for the Wings. As important as getting on the board for Detroit is, Sharks not letting them is just as big. 2-1 is a whole new series. Sharks better come out with the intention of putting their foot on Wings' throats in this series.
Matchup wise, anyone else think that Wings' new top line of Franzen-Dats-Holmstrom is designed to be matched up vs. the Juicy line? Loading up on size etc... Matching them up vs. JT's line would be a severe speed disadvantage for Detroit. Marleau and Seto would kill that line in transition IMO.
One thought though.
The Wings try to make changes to their lineup, and they have to choose between Draper and Modano?
What is this, 1999??
I didn't realize that they were still so stuck.... in the past.... kind of.....
Well, hope Draper doesn't play like a 30-year-old tonight.
