i agree that they were the better team, but we were the #1 seed. its not like Chicago swept every team in the playoffs. losing 4 in a row should never happen.

this team always falls flat on their faces when they get any positive playoff experience (maybe it wasnt overconfidence). this is a different, better team, but i'm expecting to see them relax and get killed like last year's game 4.

@SanJoseSharks San Jose Sharks

Devin Setoguchi is in rare company as only the 15th NHL player to ever to have a hat trick and OT winner in the same playoff game.

Wow folks, the Sharks are doing their absolute best to shed the mantle of playoff choke artists.....let's hope your run continues....the Capitals appear to be doing their best (or worst, you might say) to take that crown.

5-0 in playoff overtimes? The very definition of clutch if you ask me.

Thornton looking good, White looking good, Setoguchi......hat trick goal to beat Detroit, in Detroit, in OT? Come the ****** on!!!! That s**t was amazing! Thornton's pass to him was right up there too.

Boyle may not be looking that great on the PK, but that goal he scored last night was great....talk about reading the play. Brilliant!

Good luck....I'm watching down here in so cal.

I'd be inclined to agree with you on the second part, but ever since the Sharks made that epic comeback in Game 3 (which I'd say was a very "positive playoff experience"), they've gotten better and better. And getting swept last year will turn out to be a good thing, because now they know that just beating Detroit isn't good enough.

His mobility and chemistry with Murray is very key. Murray is the answer on the PK when the team needs to clear bodies from the front. However, if you don't put Boyle on the PK, you have to pair Murray with someone else. That means having to brake up another pairing with great chemistry, or not utilizing Murray at all, which means the bulk of the physical assignments go to Wallin. Having Boyle-Murray, Vlasic-Demers, and White-Wallin gives us a stalwart defensive dman and some mobility on each line. It also lets you "roll" your defensive pairs on the PK; all three pairings get PK time, and this lets them get in a rythm and prevents unequal distribution of ice time (like we saw in Game 3 of the first round).

Since it was tagged "Video" and Seto, I thought it was HWBM video and so ignored it, since I'd already seen it.
