GDT: WCSF Game 4 San Jose SHARKS at Detroit Redwings 5/6/11 4PM PDT

Last year, I expected a proud and slightly shocked Wings team to blow out the Sharks in Game 4. They had never been in that position, let alone courtesy of the Sharks. And, that is what happened. This year, they are still proud, but nothing else is the same. I have never predicted a sweep, but I have a feeling this is the year it happens. The Sharks remind me of the 97 Wings. A team that had gone through hell underachieving for 4 years prior until their much-maligned captain reinvented himself as a two-way player.

Honestly, I think the Sharks win. Im not sure why as I have had little confidence in them in clinching games but if they keep the score close through two. I smell a victory.

Another playoff game, another day for victory duds. This being a road game, means another day of me in my light colored suit with teal shirt and tie. Since starting this, Sharks are now 6-0 in the playoffs when I wear a suit corresponding to the Sharks colors for that day, including wearing a suit last Sunday in the morning just for the Sharks. Don't know why NBSF has stopped posting this, we still need the mojo, so the lucky pic is also being posted again. Let's make this 7-0 with the duds. GO SHARKS!!!!

Excellent work AD! Part of me wants to go to game 5 and watch the handshake live again. Another part of me doesn't care that I'm gonna be stuck at work and miss the game and wants the stupid Wings to get swept. For now I'll go with the latter part of me, go Sharks!
