Good effort by the team to battle until the end, but TMac dropped the ball on this one.
Yeah... Nichol has not been strong in defensive zone faceoffs, and as I stated before, whenever he ends up losing them, the puck seems to end up in the Sharks' net

Why complain about refs? Sharks fought through it and then had two PPs in the third period where they could have taken the lead, but didn't. Oh well... bummer they just gave up in the last five minutes.

Nichol's been horrible all playoffs.

Razor is the Star's color guy. He's quite anti-Sharks.

that was terrible...I can't believe how the refs let the DRW just tackle Sharks players in our defensive zone with so little time left. Before that last in-zone face-off one of the Sharks got absolutely mugged behind the net when trying to clear the puck...Detroit gets it, puts it on net and Niemi stops it to get the face-off.

Then Nichol got tripped on his way to clear the puck....just pathetic

Clowe just manhandled Abdelkader haha. I doubt it was unprovoked. Abdelkader's a little **** and was probably talking a lot of smack. Clowe just wanted him to suffer a bit for us losing.

That's not how I saw it. In the last 5 minutes the Sharks were getting held, tripped, hooked and tackled and the refs swallowed their whistles. That's fine. We'll close the deal at home and everyone gets to make a little more money on the series.

I love how the announcers proclaim this to be a 'series now' even though the Wings barely won with all their PP's and a goal that shouldn't have even counted... good grief...

At least it wasn't a blow out. And I'm glad Clowe punched Abderkader in the face to end that one.
With all the pressure that Detroit was putting on right before that shift I think T-Mac should have called a time out and have Thornton on the ice. But can't change it now. On to the next one.

Nichol didn't even take the draw, which confuses me even more. Why the hell was he out there? If it was to take the faceoff then he should have been in the circle. If it was because of fatigue on the bench, then TMac should have taken a time out.

Anyways guys its ONE game. Sucks but its ONE game. Unless you channel your inner Bruin, there's nothing to worry about. Its hard to sweep, but 4-1 and 4-0 are the same in the long run, for you're one step closer to 16W.

Yeah, that too! I suppose he was out there in case Pavelski got kicked, but still... that was a bad line mix to put out there...

This.

People need to stop saying the series will end sunday, that's what they said about today.

This wings team aren't pushovers, the sharks have squeeked by with 1 goal wins.

You know... You were on your heels for 2 or 3 minutes. You are clearly getting dominated. Faceoff in your own zone and Todd doesnt call a timeout to calm down the team?
