Not really for two reasons. First if a team wants to give us something good in return I'll take it. Bob has potential, sure, but there's no guarantee he can live up to that (and we have a guy in the system in Eriksson with just as much potential). Second, I really don't think the Flyers would do it unless they had a guy like Vokoun or Byrzgalov signed already (in which case, see my first reason).
I don't have much faith in Holmgren, but I can't see him doing this at all, unless we traded him in a package that included bringing in a young provern goalie - but I really can't see this happening at all.
If he is moved as part of a package to bring a goalie in then I wouldn't be too upset...depending on who we get. That said, Bob looks like he will be a legit starting goalie in a year or two and I wouldn't move him unless it's an offer we cant refuse.
While I don't think they should be (or will be) actively shopping Bobrovsky this summer, if a deal is made where we can get an established #1 goalie in this league and Bobrovsky goes the other way it would be ok for me. I think he had a really good rookie season, a season he probably should have spent in the AHL really which makes it even more of an accomplishment, but he's not untouchable by any means.
I'd honestly love to see him bloom here, but if he is used to get a real #1 for the next few years at least, it'd be worth it I think. We still do have Eriksson in the system, but still, I hope that Bob will have a great career, wherever he may end up.
