LEGGY!

Also, we need to win this game, not to starve off elimination, but to also get more money to sellout the bridgestone arena at least one more time.

I was about to comment on the irony of how we get called for "holding the stick" but Leggy made me forget all about it. That's the spirit boys, we need those big goals!

On the bright side, at least it's only tied... I really don't like trailing the Canucks.

That was a very Hamhuis move by Blum there.

Also, this needs to be said, but Green Day for goal song? At least they know their target audience of people born well after 1994.

Love Blum but his foot speed is questionable.

Questionable puck handling skills on that Van goal.

How is any of that on Blum? He keeps him to the outside and Franson leaves his man wide open in the slot. Franson made the bad move going to help Blum and left his man alone. That is all Franson.

Great goal by leggy!

Love the energy so far but way too many odd man rushes.

Blum had a few different chances to get the puck on his stick and failed to do so.

And regardless of that, Franson had no business leaving his man wide open. Let Pekka make the save as opposed to not having a chance. I'd rather the guy take a shot from out wide than a guy in the slot all alone.

FYP. Cody got caught puck watching. If he does his job and covers the trailing man, we're still leading.

CBC gives props to the Nashville scouts (although I don't think they realize we didn't draft Halischuk LOL). Nice to get some respect though.

Blum has full body position on his man and gets striped from behind. The canucks didn't enter the zone with possesion. Hansen chips it in and Blum is slow to get to it. Why would Franson be covering a man if he's anticipating Blum will have possession of the puck? If anything he's thinking about making himself an outlet.
