Butler, Kennedy, Gerbe, Orpik and Generous are summer 2009 (are they still using the Aug 15th date?). 4 years college eligibility left.

Stafford and Morrow are summer 2007. Two years eligibility left.

If Adams isn't signed, I'm off the Regier bandwagon.

I know you're a huge Adams fan, eSabre, but that'd really be the straw that breaks the camel's back for you?

Honestly, it'd really piss me off, because I've seen JA play enough to know he's a good player.

The team failing to sign him and all the other prospects they chose not to sign this summer completely contradicts their apparent "philosophy" of building from within. I'll agree not to trade young guys or draft picks for short term needs if it means the prospects will be developed, but to let things happen like the majority of a draft class go unsigned is pointless. If you want to develop your own talent, you have to get more prospects in the system and develop them into NHL-caliber players. Don't just let them go unsigned. Especially ones that show a lot of promise.

Well, just look at how many potential signees that are deadlined for next offseason. We only have so much room in Rochester as the roster also has to have AHL vets. I agree though that Adams should get a serious look.
