The second round as a whole has been really stupid and anti-climatic compared to the first round.

I knew Tampa would beat Washington, but a sweep? did not see that one coming...

I can say, if it does go to Boston vs Tampa, I could probably see Tampa winning, mainly because their offense is so ****ing scary right now, Thomas should be a bit worried.

Bergeron with mild-concussion from Giroux's hit, according to Chiarelli.

I like Stepan as a player better

And he is a C , I value C's more then LW because of the responsibilities defensively that go with being a C

They scored at about the same pace during the season and Stepan played about 2 more minutes every game. Being devil's advocate for my boy, i'd say JVR (where he looked like he was currently at) could outshine Stepan regardless of position. Playoffs are often compared to tourney play for "big game mentality", Stepan had 0 points in the playoffs and -5.

Rinne, Suter, Weber.

Nashville's the best defensive team in the league.

I'm officially on the bandwagon.

Yup, I want Smashville to win it.
If not them, Tampa.

It'd be bittersweet, but I'd love to see Gagne win the cup.

Well if your going to use that argument you have to consider that this was Stepan's 1st year in NHL and he is 1 yr younger then JVR

Last year JVR did not look good at all in playoffs making his first postseason appearance

To discuss how other teams have more promising prospects than the Flyers

In all seriousness, I think saying Stepan is the sounder pick at this point to be an opinion held by the minority, and I promise I took the goggles off for this one.

He's a good guy to have around. He's knowledgeable and isn't a dbag about it.

Right now, I'd take Stepan(C) over JVR(LW). Right now, it's close but I'd give D-step the edge.

Hah, I just managed to download a VHS rip of a highlight video released in 94.
It's called Are you ready for the best of 93?
The amount of insanely dirty hits I've seen in the first 10 minutes alone would cause HF to crash if everyone watched it at the same time.

Watching old videos, I'm convinced that the concussion rate was higher in those days but nobody bothered taking them seriously.

Yeah, same here. Just finished another one, 100 thunderous hits (1992).
Should be able to find them with a bit of googling. They're both torrents.
It's fun to watch.

Don't mention it.

I actually don't mind the avatar at all, and after the buttkicking we took, I took the avatar without question. It's all in good fun, and I agree.
