that really sucks. The only thing that comes to mind is that bad pass that got him laid out by Kronwall.

Please just find a way to win. No Clowe, backs up against the wall, in Detroit, let's do this.

So, are they going to move McGinn up to his spot in the lineup and put one of Eager/Mayers on the 4th line? Oh boy....

Yeah. He's been useless this series so putting any healthy body in there for the Wangs is a plus.

It's line-tinker time!
Heatley-Thornton-Setoguchi (talent and hard work)
Marleau-Couture-Wellwood (two creative playmakers to light Patty's fire)
Mitchell-Pavelski-Ferrerio (speed and a bit of scoring)
Eager-Nichol-Mayers (grind and punish)
We can absorb this depth hit. But let's not go any further than that.

Yeah I think this is what's going to happen, maybe Mayers in over Eager.

Ryane Clowe out for game 6?
Hey guys, any truth to what the score is reporting about Clowe being out for game 6? Huge loss if he is.

"Benn Ferriero wearing a white sweater = top 2 lines, so is Ben Eager. #sjsharks"
These lines are going to get .... interesting. If Eager and Ferriero are really moving up to the top 2 lines, I think we know who is going to the third line. I'm guessing...
Ferriero-Thornton-Setoguchi
Eager-Couture-Heatley
Marleau-Pavelski-Mitchell
Wellwood-Nichol-McGinn

David Pollak reports Clowe was kept off the plane for 'flu-like' symptoms and is not in Detroit, and also left open the possibility that he could take a private charter if he felt better this morning.
That sucks, but Detroit is banged up also, so it is what it is. Got to get back on the right track regardless!
BTW - Nighthock! Awesome GDT!!!

Pollak's blog make it seem like Clowe could still hop on a Jet and make it out for game 6.
How awesome would that be?

It would be very awesome. But let's remind ourselves, this is Clowe... if he didn't make the jet, chances are it's not just a "oh my stomach hurts".
I hope he flies out like every teal blooded guy here, but I seriously doubt it. I think it had to do with that Kronwall hit and I hope I'm dead wrong.

I bet they are just trying out Eager and Ferriero in the top 6 and will pick one of them.
