Sharks have been in the conference final two times before.

Or are you talking about this year?

Dear SJ Sharks,

Please give us a Game 7 effort that resembles that of Game 7 vs. Calgary in the 08 playoffs. I am terrified of the possibility that the effort will be the same as Game 6 vs. Detroit in 07, when it looked like the Sharks had simply mailed it in and given up on the series.

All I ask is for 100% effort for 60 minutes, and longer if needed through OT for Game 7. Is that too much to ask?

This year. Complaining about what time a game in a round that the Sharks might not even be playing in is absolutely ridiculous. If the Sharks at this point pull through to the WCF, **** it, let em play at 3am.

Complaints.

the high slot cycle is something that Detroit has been very effective with. Chicago did the same thing with Pat Kane. Datsyuk plays his role on DRW.

plz make this adjustment before it leads to more goals against.

Yeah I can't even count how many times a Shark has gotten caught staring at the puck on the half boards while a guy moves right into the slot behind him for a wide open look. This HAS to be addressed before tomorrow night.

San Jose Favored for Game 7: Sports Interaction has set the odds for Detroit at San Jose tomorrow. Moneyline ... http://dlvr.it/RNKfj

Looks like it's settled then

The series is getting good numbers:

Quote:
Red Wings/Sharks Ratings: Game 5 of the Red Wings/Sharks series earned 1.627 million viewers on Versus Sunday night, the second-largest audience of the series, behind only Game 2 (2.251M, NBC). Friday’s Game 4 earned 944,000 viewers. (Versus)
http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2011...sharks-game-5/

This is especially impressive since it was on Versus and got viewership similar to NBC's.

Quote:
FOX Sports Detroit attracted a record audience for Tuesday’s Game 6 of the NHL Western Conference Semifinal series between the Detroit Red Wings and San Jose Sharks.
Based on data received from Nielsen Media Research, the 8:00-10:45 PM (Eastern) telecast registered a 19.5 household rating / 26 share in the Detroit metro area, an average of more than 367,000 homes (one rating point equals approximately 18,838 households). The telecast peaked at a 27.6 rating / 39 share (nearly 520,000 homes) during the closing minutes of the Red Wings 3-1 victory, sending them to a Game 7 Thursday night in San Jose (also televised on FOX Sports Detroit).

I'll be interested to see our local ratings of Game 7.

Have definitely seen too many goals like this this series.

Maybe someone can buy 1,000 laser pointers and hand them out to people on the lower level?

Laser pointers are prohibited @ HPP. So those 1000 would be tossed from game.

Well then maybe we can give Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Lidstrom laser pointers so they get kicked out.

you do remember who basically single-handedly saved the sharks in that game, right?

p.s. marleau was a team-worst -2 in that game, ehrhoff +3

Will Mclellan or DW bring up the failed offsides/too many men calls? They all resulted in goals against. I think it's a fair assumption if those get called we win at least one of the last 3 games.

Sure, our PP sucks but it would stop us from getting scored against on something that is blatantly against the rules.

Dear Sharks PP,

Oh how I miss you. It's been nearly a week, and you haven't returned yet. Come home please. There will be food on the stove, hamburglars and pickles.
