A little superstition to add to the mix. Marleau went on a hot streak after Christmas.

I think it is EASILY the biggest game of the franchise so far. If they win, the mental roadblock of the Wings and the 2nd round will be temporarily removed. A LOT of pressure will be removed from our star players who don't like pressure at all. And we would be in the 3rd round, the furthest this franchise has ever advanced.

If we lose, Jumbo and Patty will NEVER, EVER lose their 'choker' label. Wilson will be forced to do something to the core of this team (I mean, how could he not?) that might change the franchise forever. You think Bruins fans last year and Nucks fans a few weeks ago had it bad? Our fanbase will probably be the laughingstock of the league for years if we lose.

We need this Marleau to show up tonight, not the imposter that has taken his place the last 6 games.

If one thing is for sure you have to at leat hope Marleau and Joe are "due" for a big clutch game.

I think Joe has played much better this playoff than in previous years and has started doing more of the little things better. I didnt feel he had a great game 6, but if he can turn it on like he did earlier this series then you guys have a good shot. The only problem is the team you are playing.....filled with winners and clutch players. Home ice could prove huge....but you need all of your studs to be studs.

it was a first round game no. Conisdering the sharks have been to the conf finals in the past and they had a 3-0 lead yes losing this lead would the most pathetic thing in team history. Losing a 3-0 lead in a playoff series is the sign of the upmost choke and only a small select number of teams have ever accomplished.

Not really speaking in hindsight, but it was important in overcoming the series momentum and especially for preventing the epic choke.
