agreed. Not once in our series with Nashville did I ever hate them or even mildly dislike them. But midway through game 1, I can just tell I'm gonna effin' hate the Sharks.
We're still wondering how Datsyuk is out of the playoffs. This year he was just... I can't describe how good he was. Kesler was dominant and is now the Smythe favorite. But... Datsyuk... OMG.
That's far enough, Shark fans. Deep inside you know it. Your perpetual playoff gaffes is what has lead to your endearing sense of humility and self loathing. Would fans of a winning team make hilarious gifs and entertain the boards with dolorous bon mots? I think not. They'd be off partying, drunk with success, enjoying the spoils of their happy lives.
It's really best for everyone if your little Stanley Cup run ends here. You'll be happier this way. Let US bear the heavy burden of expectations in the Stanley Cup final. For our Pacific Rim brothers, it is the least we can do.
Congratulations Sharks fans. Looking forward to a great series.
I feel I can't really go wrong with this series as I have lived significant portions of my life (20+ years in Vancouver and 10 years in the Bay Area - San Francisco and Pacifica) in each of these beautiful areas. My kids were born at UCSF and Stanford hospitals but have only gone to school in Vancouver. I love both cities, have friends and family connection in both cities and follow both teams.
So if your Sharks happen to beat my Canucks - is there room on the bandwagon for another Sharks fan?

I'm excited to get to watch Wellwood on a regular basis again! Hope he gets lots of ice time.
This series is gonna be RAD. A couple of the regular season games between these two teams were two of my faves of the season. Just totally exciting end-to-end action and amazing hockey all around.
Jaws cant die. i just put in my DVD whenever i wanna see him.
When that movie first came out, it was rated 13 years (or what ever the rating system was in 1975) and I was only 12, so a neighbour (neighbor) took us to the movie. You know the scene where the head rolls out of the sunken boat? He was just taking a draw on his cigarette -you were allowed to smoke in theatres (theaters) back then, when the head rolled out and he sucked the whole cigarette down his windpipe and nearly died.
I didn't see the end of the movie until I was an adult - on VHS.
