I thought I had seen something a while back too about the league not wanting Detroit in the East as that would leave only one Original Six team in the west, but that might have just been talk.

Rather impressive, goes to show you what speed and desire will get you, doesn't hurt to have nice handles.
Wouldn't have mind seeing him in a Caps jersey flying down the wing .... think Chimmy with hands.

finally got around to reading the caps eu-googly on puckdaddy. this line made me spit my beer on the screen.
"Using this eulogy to throw barbs directly at the Caps fan base would not be a good use of everyone's time. The Caps and Pens have been eliminated from the playoffs by the same team for the past two years. It would be like two guys fighting over a hot girl while that hot girl is getting plowed by some other guy."

RIP.
Everything seemed positive as far as making it back next season and overcoming the shoulder/concussion issues.

Just read about it. RIP. Always shocking when a young athlete dies, especially a tough guy like him.

We will never know for certain if his development wasnt stunted being stuck behind AHL superstar Alex Giroux all those years, now will we. All those top line minutes, and endless PP's he missed out on, fighting the goons the kid had to face on that 4th line, the beatings he took really, since he wasnt a good fighter.
Good for him, moving closer to home. The AHL didnt work out for him. I still believe that icing a winner in Hershey as an top org priority isn't always best for player development.

@ RW tweet: That's awesome
@ Boogy: RIP. You made Houston hockey fun. I hope for sports sake, its not a concussion or fighting thing.
@ WC: zero points... ouch. Also I only just got to watch Sweden last night on flight back from Chi to Houston (love DTV on Continental). But I guess MoJo wasn't on the roster.
