Jared, Very good read. But who do you believe the Devils should draft if it's not Larsson or Landeskog?
And I also understand not giving up on Corrente and this being a very important year for him, maybe his last has a Devil. However, exactly how does he get ice time to prove himself? I see Fayne, Taromina and maybe Urbom ahead of him right now.
Watching Berglund play on WCH is making me confident about picking Sean. I can`t say I`m sold, just that I don`t care that much. Swede > the rest though.

If Larsson and Landeskog are both gone, which is a distinct possibility, it most likely comes down to Huberdeau or Couturier I think. I'm still not able to come to a decision on who I'd take if that were the case. You can easily make arguments for both. I like the power game Couturier brings, but Huburdeau's skill can't be ignored.
Part of the challenge Corrente faces next year is not just staying healthy, but there is going to be even more competition than there was for roster spots than there was last fall. The Devils have enough depth that he could get beat out of a job, even if he plays well during training camp. It will be interesting to see how he responds.
nice read. I wonder what Henrique's future position will be going forward, right wing or center?
I think the beauty of Henrique is that's he's smart enough to play either position. I think he'd be best utilized at center, but I don't think he'd have a problem adjusting to playing on the wing. Being able to play multiple forward positions is a huge asset for the Devils to have. You've seen how guys like Elias and Zubrus have been moved around depending on injuries, who's playing well, etc.
Never understood the hate for Couturier. The Devils could really use a combination of size and skill up front.
Great read, as always.
It's quite puzzling. It seems to happen with these elite prospects, they just get over-analyzed. They get passed by other prospects, even though they haven't really done anything to merrit being passed.
Thanks for all the kind words guys. Twitter has really opened up a lot of great avenues for me to get to follow our prospects better and to do Q & A's like this.
Does that mean you're in favor of Couturier if Larsson is gone?
I'm still on the fence if Larsson is gone and it's Huberdeau and Couturier to pick from. I'm slightly leaning towards Couturier because of the power-game and the fact that he's more of a natural center. But I'm by no means set on that.
Since you got to figure that Parise and Zajac won't be splitting up soon, I really wonder who'd be better with Kovalchuk on his wing. (Assuming the guy we draft eventually ends up on one of the top two lines, as predicted).
It's funny how people who write for Hockeys Future say that the Devils have an above-average prospect pool compared to the rest of the NHL yet we're always in the bottom 1/3 of the team rankings. You think they'd have enough common sense to listen to the people that work for them.
