Glencross re-signed with CAL. 4/10 mill. Would have liked him here.

Oh well.

Is it me or is Mike Richards having a complete mental breakdown? Now, on his Twitter, he takes on the media. First, Comcast, now the media.

It's gotta be hard on him, thinking he's God's great gift to hockey. Him and Clarke are exactly the same.

Take a look at that roster, from management to players, and count how many of them have huge egos. I'm surprised they haven't imploded yet, but it'll come.

Clarke, Laviollette, Richards, Pronger. All "me" individuals, all in leadership and management roles. Before someone says Clarke isn't GM anymore, I know but he's still around the team.

I think it is the right thread to comment it. It seems the Trashers are getting closer to Winnipeg and that they are in the negociation process :

What will be the new divisions? My guess :

Montreal-Boston-Buffalo-Toronto-Boston
New York-Long Island-New Jersey-Philly-Pitsburg
Washington-Carolina-Florida-Tampa Bay-Dallas

Calgary-Vancouver-Edmonton-Minnesota-Winnipeg
Chicago-Columbus-Nashville-St-Louis-Detroit(even if they want to move East)
LA-Anaheim-San Jose-Phoenix-Colorado

I would swap Nashville and Dallas.

It might be a solution but apparently the Red Wings said they were tired of all this travelling. Adding Dallas to their division would not help.

But in the end, I think the management did an outstanding job with this team. We can say anything we want about them but they are where they are because they are solid team. Don't tell me you guys would not take a Lucic, a Horton or a Chara with the Habs even if they are big and they score, hit and fight...

And to say that we can't wait until next year to beat them again and again is pretty funny. As far as I know, we didn't make any changes to our team yet. In fact, we only have 9 players signed for next year. Let's be real, this rivarly makes us say stupid things sometimes...
Honestly, I'd be in a conflict of interest if Lucic was traded in montreal, as much as if chara was traded here. Horton I'b be okay with since he seems like a "stupid strong hockey player" only when wearing a bruins jersey. I would want him for goals and physical presence near the boards, not to sucker punch everything at sight. I'm a fan of the habs not only because it's my home team, but because they are the complete opposite of the bruins when it comes to show how hockey is played, and I love it.

On a charter flight you are talking about 1 hour difference. Not a big deal.

I think the NHL would like Nashville in that division with Carolina.

That would screw up Québec's bid a bit I believe. I mean, if Pheonix' issue is settled, and if the Thrashes become the Jets, what's left?

Phoenix next year ... and the year after. They will probably lose 30 millions again next season

If the Thrashers actually move to Winnipeg, the Wild should move in the Central Division. No doubt.

Otherwise, that'd really suck for the Minnesota Wild.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Coyotes move next year.

And that makes their disgusting, punishable actions honorable? 29 other teams would want Subban too, with Ruins killing to be first in line. Your point is? Ruins is a solid team? Well, duh!

Unless the franchise all of sudden starts drawing all sorts of fans to the arena, I agree with this. Given where Pheonix has finished in the standings the past two seasons, I personally can't see it getting much better for them down there. Especially given the promotions/ticket prices they are offering. We could sell out TEN Bell Center's with those promotions up here.

Calgary-Vancouver-Edmonton-Minnesota-Winnipeg

Call this the sellout division, 4 canadian teams, and minny who sold out nearly every single game since they came in the league.

$2.55 m cap hit. And they benched him this year for attitude problems too. I was hoping Calgary would let him walk because of it. OTOH, I also thought he'd come in a little lower than that.

I kinda feel bad. The Thrashers tried real hard to spice up their marketing this season too.

He'd have been let go of if he was a Hab, take that to the bank. Unless of course he was the twinkle in Gainey's eye.

(don't take this as a shot at Price, but there is other players we should have never let go of because "attitude" problems)

It's going to suck if Winnipeg gets a team back finally and they can't use the Jets name. They better not go with the Moose name either, they'd automatically have the worst name in the NHL.

Also, the Jets jerseys were so nice too.

Agreed, I think they'd look awesome with the new RBK format too.

My point being : calm down and stop being so biased because of the rivarly we have with them (Horton being a fake tough guy when he sure can fight big guys (Phaneuf, Smith, Peckham) is one example). Also, taking only one part of my comment doesn't reflect the whole idea.

And no, it doesn't make their actions honorable. But in the end what goes around comes around (Bergeron out, Savard out, etc). When you choose to play this dirty type of game, you have to be ready to answer the bell and they have the team to do so.
