do you guys think handedness effects how a line performs?

I only ask because we now have a line of 3 lefties (Marchand-Kelly-Recchi) and a line of three righties (Ryder-Peverley-Seguin).

i definitely think handedness affects how lines perform. I like to see at least one wing on his off wing .It makes shooting and passing angle much easier.

I'm starting to think part of the 3rd line strategy should be to have Tyler keeping one eye on the cherry-grove. Playoffs is no time to be teaching dogs - young or old - new tricks, but instead playing to their strengths. Obviously sound game comes first, but why not be thinking of trying to spring young Tyler when possible? He's got the wheels and the skills to be deadly...

My biggest fear is Julien treating the 3rd line as a 4th line, and he'll over play the Paille-Campbell-Thornton line. Pev is the better offensive player but I am sure Julien wants to use Kelly more against the top guns of Tampa so thats why he moved up to 2nd instead of Pev. I just dont want to see some of our best offensive weapons treated as a 4th line because Seguin is on it.

A valid fear, but I think to combat that we will see Kelly/Peverley/Campbell get rotated through the "middle 6" forward lines. I highly doubt we will see Thornton very much, especially since Tampa is so damn good up front.

No. Maybe on the power play if you have a set formation and you want guys in certain positions for one timers, but 5 on 5 it doesn't matter, at all.
