Yeah I'm definitely gonna watch the 2nd one because I'm intrigued now. They said it's gonna be a lot more gruesome and show a lot more things than the first one did so that should be interesting.

I'm convinced the doctor is like that in real life, he's one creepy guy

Completely forgot about last week's episode with the Canadian royal wedding, I definitely thought that was funny. I thought yesterdays was meh, started out pretty good but as the episode went on I didn't find myself laughing as much as I usually do. The funny bot episode was terrible.

With the way they make these new episodes seemingly based on what's big in the news that week, maybe I'm just a bet let down that they haven't made any Bin Laden episode yet. After they caught him I thought for sure they would have an epic episode about it, but so far nothing.

They already did a Bin Laden episode, so they probably won't do another one

Speaking of the apocalypse, I have to throw a rapture party tomorrow. If i'm getting abandoned on Earth, i'm going to do it in style.

Can't make this **** up.

They love fear mongering, even if it's the ridiculously unbelievable kind.

Panic sex for everyone.

Well, the CDC outright said that it's a tongue-in-cheek campaign, meant to attract website hits from a younger demographic. They said that their average page hits hovered between 1k-3k per day, and this report boosted traffic to 60k views.

Haha I bet it did.

If they really want to attract people maybe they should just go for the throat and put an article up that tells you how to survive a "Pornado."

So I have this absolute ***** of a professor. She constantly contradicts herself and when you call her on her ********, she gives you a know it all- talk back attitude. Ive had to resubmit this ****ing "needs statement " like 10 times, and every time its some new **** thats wrong with it. Then I took my friends who got it right after some time and used it as a template changing words and whatnot, and she *****es about that one too. I really hope Judgement Day is something that just takes all the *******s off the face of the planet, cause I know shed be gone. What a *****.

Also, the first thing she said before introducing herself was this:
"I know Engineering is a mans field, but I am a woman and I demand respect"

Which of course, was her way of saying:

"I'm a *****, I got fired from my engineering job, because I gave too much attitude, and took it as its because Im a woman. Goodluck passing this class, because I'm going to make you jump through hoops to get anything accepted."

A bunch of the students dropped out of this concentration, because shes going to be teaching a lot of the classes within the program - Im seriously considering doing the same. Of the 7 remaining in the class, six went to the head of the dept to complain about her, and plead that we have some other teacher from here on in, but I doubt anything will happen.

I had more to this rant, but my fury is getting the better of me, and I feel like breaking things.

I found out that in my concentration of 5 classes, shes teaching 3 here, and 2 in the other. So either way Im stuck with her for 2 more, if I change concentrations or not. Ive complained to other professors, to the professor who created the program (who emailed the head), Ive talked with the head of the dept...But I get this feeling that its just like "yeah yeah, well do what we can" and nothing gets done, and there she is again. On top of her being a *****, she teaches nothing. And I know, students say that all the time "this professor doesn't teach", but I cant say Ive learned anything new since last semester from this class. There was a time in this class where I brought up something for discussion from a previous (and pre-requisite) class with textbook in hand, to be shot down saying that (get this) "The textbook is wrong - do it like I say".

It feels like in this class this professor will do what she wants, teach false material, and wont be questioned. And God forbid she is, prepare for attitude like your mother and your younger sister combined at their peak of *****iness.

There really is not that much more you can do, but your education is certainly at risk. If you can get enough students together, you should see if you can all openly boycott her classes.

If it gets any attention whatsoever, that ***** is toast. No school wants prospective students to hear stories about professors being so bad a rally was started

Real OT.. just a brief rant.

I posted, in response to someone saying that it sucks for the players having to move from ATL to WIN, that Atlanta isn't really that great of a place. Gave a personal example to add conviction. Stated that it sucks for Atlanta fans. And the post got deleted (actually, I guess both posts got deleted). I know who deleted them because <that person> also edited a couple of posts around the same time. <that person> is about the worst moderator I've ever encountered on any message board ever. Once moved a thread of mine into another one because <that person> didn't see it as a separate topic, even though it had nothing to do with the thread it was moved into. I've never had any of my other posts or threads deleted EVER on ANY message board except by this one person.

Like I said, brief rant. Mods, please ignore/delete as you feel necessary. I just wanted to type it out.

He was too hot to handle and too cold to touch. Did he just say what I think he said?

Now, can you dig it?!

Grew up idolizing those wrestlers. Sad to hear about this tragedy.

Yea RIP to Randy Savage.

He was driving along the road in Tampa and he had a heart attack, veered across the median onto oncoming traffic and crashed into a tree. He died later a local hospital.

It just seemed liked during his hayday the man was bigger than life, sad sad story.

Speaking of ****** teachers, at the good old "Groovy UV" (UVM) I had a Philosophy class (a mandatory "diversity" class) where the teacher came out and said she was a feminist, to the point where we had to put our student ID numbers on our exams instead of our names because she would grade a male student's test harder than a female student's. It was pretty ridiculous. I hate UVM.

Well I just had a pretty awesome night. I was sitting on my couch watching game 3, when I saw Sione Pouha of the Jets tweeted he was gonna be in Times Square at 10:30 and had giveaways. I couldn't make it by 10:30, but I really wanted to do this because for no particular reason, he's one of my favorite Jets and I have his jersey. No one could come with me, so I was debating just going by myself. Then I tweeted at him and asked him how long he'd be there, and he said he'd be back at 11:45pm. It seemed a little fishy, so I wrote back "so if\when I'm at Times Square at 11:45, you're gonna be there?!" and he write back to me "I'll be there for you boss." I figured it was worth the risk, and I certainly had to go now. So I drove into the city from Flushing, and man was it worth it! I talked to him for about 25 minutes, he's filming a youtube show and he filmed me for it, the first episode is gonna be next week. He's sending me a helmet, a football, and a custom made Pouha shirt, and he signed my Pouha jersey for me! The guy was so cool, he just kept saying how much he and the players truly love and appreciate the fans and that they don't just say that stuff to be PC, and that he really wanted to try to give back to the fans in some way. Was asking me about school, what I wanna do after graduation, how I felt about the draft, started cracking up when I told him that Rex is my all time favorite coach in any sport, and he even asked who won the Sharks/Canucks game Just a really, really cool and down to earth normal guy who wanted to show his appreciation, and it's certainly something I'll never forget

EDIT: Let me also say that none of this surprised me. When I started following him on twitter last year, I always say him tweeting at fans, and he tweeted to me a few times during the holidays when I was saying I just got his jersey for Christmas. He even asked me if I was going to New England for the divisional round, and to tell him where I was sitting so he could wave to me. I wound up going to Pittsburgh instead but I don't think he saw me sitting all the way upstars

^^ thats pretty friggen cool. Wish more players did stuff like that.

Sidenote, Do the Rangers do equipment sales? Id like to find some other Ranger stuff to hang or use. Staal gloves/helmet are top priority for me right now.

That's so awesome! I love hearing stories like this. Athletes like Pouha realize the effect they have on the fans, and that when they go slightly out of their way for us they create an experience we'll never forget.

I've never met an athlete like that, but back when I was like 5 Bam Bam Bigelow from the WCW came to a video store (back when video stores could actually maintain business ) near my house and my brother took me to see him. I have a picture of him with me in a headlock and my brother and the video store guy shot the **** with him for a while. Seemed like a really nice guy. I think he died a few years ago .

Awesome stuff. Had I know he was gonna be there, I would have thought about stopping in Times Square on my way back from Yankee Stadium last night.

In other sports star news, Wright, Gooden and Teixiera were at the Delta Dugout thing yesterday while Bernie, Thole, and Joba were there today. Was thinking about going since I'm big on autographs but wound up not doing it.
