Whats the deal with the refs? I have never seen such a one sided sereies ever. I swear the refs do everything they can to get a canadian team in the cup...
It's obvious the bigger "enforcer" type guys are just getting us in trouble so far.
No way. McGinn was one of the best Sharks tonight that didnt get on the scoreboard, along with Douglas Murray who was a total beast tonight on those seemingly infinite pk's.
It pisses me off to no end the whining from the "other" fan base about reffing and dirty "hits"... then they got goons like Kesler throwing elbows and slashing like a mad man.
McGinn is automatically suspended no? 2 misconducts....
too bad because it was not major worthy, IMO. It was a dumb hit, but not a major. Hopefully the NHL sees that the major was an overreaction by the official and they don't suspend him.

How is a two handed slash like that by Kesler at the end of the game not called intent to injure major and carry automatic review for suspension? It's just free swingfest in the final seconds now??? Good to know.
Would'nt be that concerned about the 4th line if Pavs was playing well. A makeshift 4th line (for game 4) and a badly performing 3rd line do concern me.
The All-Star AHL line. Lol. Do it. San Jose Diego grown 4th line!
edit: I also hope they don't bench 69 for a trip. He had a great game, IMO.
I thought he had a good game to that point. The was such a critical point of this game, it could have been the turning point of a Sharks win/Vancouver laugher pt. 2 against us. Coming out of the box and not moving your feet then tripping the guy going by... that was terrible. Absolutely terrible. On the heels of the other penalties.. tired bodies
i thot it was a pretty clean hit at the start. refs are so bad. whats hilarious is the nuck fans *****ing about the reffing. apparently any hit that causes a canuck to lose the puck is some penality, but two handed whacks at shark players heads is aokay.
Despite the heart attack I almost had in the 3rd period, I will gladly take McGinn's 5 min. penalty for an injured Ehrhoff and Rome...hopefully they are out for a few games. The one area I see the Nucks better than the Sharks is on D...that will help lower their advantage.
Not to be Sir Killjoy but only 1 of our 4 goals was even strength. Sharks have scored 3 even strength goals in 3 games. What happens if the PP dries up since it's unlikely to keep up a 80% PP.

I'd like to know as well, RG

McGinn was fantastic.
I think he was too. But given the aura of this series and the hits we've dished out so far influencing things, is it worth the risk? The PK killed us tonight. I mean the only way I'd want McGinn in there is if he played like he did tonight.
Given that Couture tried to come back, talked with TMac, then went back to the dressing room, do we all figure he'll be good for Game 4? If he was able to come back to Game 3 seems like he's ok.
