Given that Couture tried to come back, talked with TMac, then went back to the dressing room, do we all figure he'll be good for Game 4? If he was able to come back to Game 3 seems like he's ok.
I was thinking that as well.
Everything seems okay as long as nothing pops up within the next couple of days.
How is a two handed slash like that by Kesler at the end of the game not called intent to injure major and carry automatic review for suspension? It's just free swingfest in the final seconds now??? Good to know.
Nah man haven't you heard? That would go against the leg humping love fest of the hockey world praising Kesler for being the greatest player ever. He can do what ever the **** he wants.
Not to be Sir Killjoy but only 1 of our 4 goals was even strength. Sharks have scored 3 even strength goals in 3 games. What happens if the PP dries up since it's unlikely to keep up a 80% PP.
Are the Canucks much better without the PP? they scored 4 PP goals last game, 2 tonight and atleast 1 in the opener.
I'm reading the NHL rulebook right now and trying to figure out if McGinn is gonna get auto-suspended or not. His miscoducts were for Charging (general category infraction) and Boarding (stick/checking infraction).
The game misconduct rules state that a player is automatically suspended for incurring 2 game misconducts in the same category for 1 game, and additional games should a 3rd or more infractions be accrued. Since McGinn's misconducts fall under two different categories, will he be permitted to play in Game 4?

My guess would be McLellan sent him back since the game was 4-1 and he probably figured he wouldn't need Couture.

For realz. First team whose PP dries up probably loses this series...

Felt i needed to quote what I was looking at.
Any rule experts wanna take a gander whether or not McGinn's Charging+Boarding Misconducts get him suspended for 1 game? From the looks of this, its a no.
