I'd do this if the Wild were still able to get Puempel, Phillips, Scheifele, or the off chance that Armia/McNeil slide. I don't really see this as realistic however.
The Wild are also restricted as to how many contracts they can take on at this point, too. Bringing on two more without moving any of their contracts puts them in a bit of a bind. Chorney doesn't really distinguish himself over the many decent defensive prospects the Wild have. While Linus has some skill, I don't think his skill translates all that well to the NHL game and I believe the Wild would have a tough time finding a suitable place to play him.
In short, it's a fair proposal for the Wild with an inter-divisional opponent. However, I'm not too sure it's feasible. I think the Wild would rather take on additional draft picks instead of more contracts on players who won't make much of an impact.

i think edmonton, or at least the fans, would much rather replace omark with cogliano...
Agreed. I don't like the idea of moving Omark right now, not because I think that he'll be a great player but more so because he makes guys like Paajarvi and possibly Lander more comfortable in Edmonton. Omark deserves to show us what he can do next year, Cogliano on the other hand looks like he'll be a good/decent 3C if he can improve his faceoffs. If Minny were willing to trade down I'd pursue it from the Oilers perspective but I would prefer not parting with Omark.

Chorney/Omark fill no needs for us, we've got enough undersized playmakers and depth d-men. Would have to be #19 + #31, perhaps more since we're in the same division and moving down 30% of the first round is significant.
